    #5696050 - 05/31/06 06:35 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the version of the Beatles song TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS that is one of the Anthology cd? Its one of my favorite songs but I don't want to buy the whole damn double cd that its on just for that song.

You can never hurt yourself by buying a Beatles album. That tune is originally from "Revolver" (1966)--which is an incredible album. But I guess you could dowload it from one of the pay music sites. I have every Beatles album on disc, so I am biased, I suppose. GL.

Yeah, I have rubber soul, revolver, sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band, magical mystery tour, the white album, past masters volume two, and abbey road and I haven't been disappointed by any of them by any stretch of the imagination. They are my favorite records. But I have wanted to get the alternate version of tomorrow never knows ever since I heard it a few days on the second set of anthology videos a few days ago and I can't afford the whole album because I am in between jobs. My school program (in which I worked as a TA) ended a few weeks ago and I need to conserve money until I find a use for my degree (said with fingers crossed). I'll buy the album after I get a job, but for now I'll be happy with just that one song. I checked on Yahoo! Music and they have it listed but it is not listed for sale.

Sorry, I misunderstood. You may have to wait to buy the album. GL.

Dude there's no better album than revolver. The anthologies are awesome though...you're talking about volume two. The Lennon demos of Strawberry Fields Forever are just astonishing, and there's a great tune called "You Know My Name (So Look Up The Number)" that doesn't appear anywhere else. Well worth it...im sure you can get it for a few £ off ebay if you look.
