I'm hurting bad. I had told myself to just suck it up and do nothing about it. But we were over at a friend's house and we sat and talked for about 2 hours in their backyard. When everyone was leavin I went to say goodnight to her, but to my surprise she told me to follow her home. So I did.
We got their and she spilled. She told me how she fell for me the first time we met over a year ago. Which is when I fell too. She had talked to her best friend and family about me and they knew something was goin on.
She kissed me.
And I kissed back.
It started heading towards the inevitable but I slammed the brakes on. Told her goodnight and left.
I'm leavin town in four days. I dont know when I'll see her again. This is the second time I've ever been in love and it hurts.
This is one of those girls you meet maybe once in your life if you're lucky. And she's about to slip thru my fingers.

If you can, keep in contact and discuss it further. No reason you can't do that. If you choose each other after being over things thorough I'm sure you can work something out. I have a couple friends in long distant relationships, and one of those couples is getting married this summer.

well im getting shitfaced right now and cursing god. I dont know if i could pull off a long distance relationship. If I'm with a person I need to see them as much as possible. That would just be torture. I'm a very affectionate person.

Long distance crap wouldnt work for you, I am the same way. Then trust and so forth becomes an issue and it all spirals downhill. Maybe she could come live near you? How far away? Ill drink a beer for you too. People say that doesnt help, but I get some of my best point of views whenever I am hammered. I guess I just suck sober. Haha.

I disagree, I think he should avoid her whether she breaks up with him or not. She said she was in love with him a year ago, but she kept the same boyfriend. That has no logic behind it. I think she loves drama in her life and is trying to make shit hit the fan, so when it does, she could feel important. Like you said earlier, girls are crazy.

Look. She's dated this guy for 3 years or so. Also they've been friends since like freakin 6th grade. She realizes that me and her make sense, but she feels obligated to be with this guy. She's scared to death to shatter this guy's life, and I don't want to do that to someone. If this is as far as it's gonna go, I'll take it on the chin and remember that life sucks.

Here are my suggestions:
1. Go all in. Take her from her bf and be in love. But remember this: If she leaves her BF because of you what makes you think she wont leave you for someone else?
2. Back off comepletly. End all communication and contact with her. Put her far out of your mind and get over it.
I would think number two would be the best choice.

If you back away now and go through the emotional hurt, you wont be tormented any longer over her. I know how you feel, really I do. In my humble opinion, it would be better for you to back away from her. It will be better for your stress levels, emotions and health in general.
