String theorists have a pretty good idea of what started it.

Our earth could last millions more years, I mean Our sun has quite a bit of life left in it
but its not just a supernova sun that could destroy the earth
there is also air pollution to consider. Global warming. Nuclear threats.
any one of these factors could put an end to this earth long before it is due.
And that would be a sad waste of potential.
I have dedicated much of my life energy to the struggle to save earth from its own self-destruction.
but, since the cares of humanity lie elsewhere,
I fear it is a losing battle.
Oh well, back to the drawing board!
what if we banish people more wasteful than us from our reality, and form a new one with those who care?
I don't know how you do that...... but I've often thought this.... what if a bunch of drug-reform advocates created a reality in the "astral" and layed it upon the Earth, thereby separating ourselves into a paralell universe where all the people who want us in jail change their minds in OUR reality... but in their reality they still want us in jail, but they are stuck on another planet without them realizing it. um.
you understand what i mean.
-------------------- I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo! ....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...... Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

If there were one entity that controlled it all, don't you think he is in pain as well. I mean if we experience this stuff, he must experience something quite similar. The pain, stuggle, and all life experiences he faces. The love, accomplishment he experiences.
What do you think?
