where can one find gypsum in their neighbourhood? some people think that ordering something like that from a vendor is a waste of time...

You can find it at most garden centers like Lowes or agri supply houses. It wouldnt be a waste of time, Gypsum is a vital part of professional growing. It conditions and texturizes the soil along with other things. Makes for some nice and vigorous mycelia.:)bluhoney
