a reply i did up in general questions made me think a little, i have never seen anything grows as fast as cannabis , the most ive seen cannabis grow is 7 inch in about 24 hrs. but what other really fast growing ethnos are there? im also thinkin cannabis is the only plant i grow under 600 and 1000 W hps so that is maybe more or less the reason ive seen that one grow faster than other. my newcomers salvia also seems to grow pretty fast.
so what other fast growing ethno plants do you know of?

Morning Glory vines grow fast as hell. I don't know about from seed, but Datura that has been established seems to grow pretty fast.

ive never seen 7 inches worth of growing in 24 hours. Somehow I think that would be very hard to accomplish, and matter more on the proper conditions and fertilizers than the plant itself.

Yeah, morning glory is surely among the fastest.

Morning Glories do grow really fast, last year I got over an ounce of seed, and I stopped picking more after a while because there were too many seed pods and I'm sort of lazy . Now there are seedlings popping up all over the place like weeds.

ive seen mg grow 7 inches and more in 1 day. these things can grow so fast that u can litteraly see them move as the weight shifts and vines swing to lean over to the other side...
maybe it has something to do with temperature. what full sun has to offer in holland is just enuff to make the leafs go limp on the hottest hours of the day, but never enuff to do any kind of damage like bleached spots etc.
all of the mg type vines grow fast for me, incl Rivea corymbosa. another thing that grows fast is phalaris grass. passiflora grows fairly fast from cuttings. i have brugmansia seeldings that are 15 and 20 inches high at 3 months old and already flowering. mints and nettles and the like (coleus, catnip, leonotis) tend to grow at cannabis speeds.
JB, next time try harvesting by cutting down the vine, putting it in a bag, hitting it with a stick and shaking out the seeds...

Once poppies bolt they grow pretty damn fast. Its fun to try to not check on them for a couple of days and then see them. HBWR grows fast but is a bit fruitless. MG but I'm just repeating what's already been said. Bottom of the list right above peyote, viridis. HURRY THE FUCK UP!!!! -peace

don't know if its considered entho...infact i don't think it is but...it goes hella fast.....st. johns wort...this thing spits out like 2 leaves a day right now and this is just on the main stem, just now getting branches
2 leaves doesn't sound like much...but these dam things keep getting biggger and bigger with each set...a few more and i woouldn't be surprised in having a leaf the size of my head...and im serious. and this thing is very tall as well, tallest i have and was the last one i planted.
another one would be vervain the one with seditive roots...puts out lots of leaves

I just recieved planted cuttings of P. viridis, B. caapi and rifat kratom, and the caapi has grown 3 inches in about 2 days.
It's really quite lovely, I do enjoy my plants so much.
Unfortunately I'm not too sure what I'm going to be doing with them in the future, since they would all need to be repotted into very large containers. Then I'm going to be going back to europe for medical school and then coming back... le sigh.
