Yo all, Was just wondering what the hell these are? I'm pretty sure they're not active, but anyone know what they may be?

Much appreciated CarlZ

Those are the delectable 'Fairy Ring' Mushrooms.......unless some dog peed on um.......to look them up in a book or on a search they're also called Marasmius oreades......now thats just the larger ones I can clearly see in the pic and dont know if there is a deadly mushroom just off camera touching the others.....and tho the little ones are probably the same cant be possitive until larger so be sure.....one noticible characteristic with these is the stems are very tough and flexy and DO NOT like to break .
tho by no means always noticable......even in the small area your pic covers......you can see how your shrooms are grouped together in a line forming a portion of the ring and they hardly ever form a complete ring usually just part of one or just scattered around the lawn.....many types of shrooms form 'Fair Rings' because the are growing outward from a central starting point...
many poisonous mushrooms occur in lawns some of which are deadly
practice learning how to make a spore print by cutting of stems and laying caps gills down on paper for a long time and see what color it leaves on the paper of the ultra fine powder(spores)........this shroom has white spores so darker paper needed or just wipe part of the print with finger and see the white
EDIT: Same thing just happened again with most of reply coming out BOLDS and this time had time to figure it out......forgot the slash before the second /b]
