New pictures, suspect contamination
    #5689731 - 05/30/06 05:22 AM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Is this deffantly contamination? If so would it be bad to continue to produce shrooms from the cake and does anyone know the side effects from eating them.

It's trichoderma. The fruits aren't toxic but if you ever want to be able to grow again, you'll have to dump that whole tub outside, then spend a few days cleaning and bleach bombing your house. That mess is puking billions of contaminant spores into your grow room. Get rid of it.

Lots of fresh air exchange is necessary to prevent green molds from forming. Once they start however, you're screwed.

I wouldn't eat it either. It looks like it has rotted.

in most cases white fuzzy growth means you need more fresh air...as far as contams I have no clue , but if its trich you will no because it spreads like a wilf fire
