Has anyone ever had a 99% Good Trip?

I'm just wondering, because all my trips have been like 15-20% terrible and hell-like, and 80-85% Bliss.
I hate the bad trip parts, and I don't like having to endure them just to get the bliss trips--But when they come on, there is no stopping them, they just grab ahold of my body. Is there anyway to have a 99% Great trip, or will there always be terrible moments in there too?

I try not to differentiate between Good or Bad, and rather view the parts as a whole: The Experience. I often find that I learn more from what are considered to be "bad trips" anyway.

Sure have. The majority of mine have been 90% good. Its all in your head, and of course the setting. I haven't had too many bad experiences.

Generally most of my trips have had a couple rough patches... Although on my last trip asside from a come up with a very 'drugged' feel to it (double vision/mixing of vision, feeling good but never comfortable enough, etc) but after that it was 4 hours or so of an easy trip. Wasn't really intense, it was more just a euphoric glow of warmth that kind of wrapped around you along with a lot of creativity, slowed down more fluid thoughts. I think discomfort and a bit of roughness are just part of the experience

I have had 100% good trips.
They were mostly when I was young and stupid. Most trips have been somewhat difficult, but what made them difficult made them the best. None of my 100%good trips were as good as the more difficult ones. 100% good trips usually took place with one good friend in the middle of a forest somewhere. We were one person on those days and nights(logic machines with an inspired capacity to speak). It made us both stronger during the more high dose experiences. I dont know if I could have felt so happy and blissful on 1500 mics if my long time trip buddy had not eaten the same amount with me. When I learned the most was when the hellish trips started happening. There are no words to describe it because its not like I was learning anything new at first. I learned so much more there after. Like every trip just go weirder and weirder even if I was in total control. The knowledge added up over time and one day that building toppled over its own weight. I dont know.......After 170 trips I dont know If I will find a reason to trip again. I saw too much in so little time after the more anxiety stricken 20% (so caled bad)-trips started happening.
Those all happened because I choose to go at it alone at some point. A very good decision on my part.

There are no free rides, but I think it helps to plan out your trip, I think being in excellent health is beneficial, My best trip was when I was cardio junk, also better shrooms always helps, such as the cyanescens varieties

Free-rides are nice when they happen, but you might not lose the ego entirely because you have not fucked with its persona thoroughly.
Ego loss has its own definition for many people it would seem. For most people who experience it, the process that preceeds this sort of extacy is what is most difficult. Most people have a harder come up than the come down. The come down for me Is time to smoke pot and contemplate all things seen thus far during this most recent trip and all those that preceeded it.

I reached ego loss, or can I say ego toss, the admission of this ride is definitely not free. As far as scary rides, I'd say it definitely caught me by surprise, When I went through ego toss, I went into a comatose. Pissed my pants and pissed off all my friends. Because I was being very defiant with them for some reason. I didn't even know why I was arguing with them; or what I was even arguing, because I was so gone none of it made sense. Its funny how in one state I'm engaged in an argument, but really I'm not even there LOL.

Cant say I know what you mean by that. No self is a pretty good vantage point to view the unfathomable from.
Thats what I was saying so thanks for making my point. With my good friend we held it all together in some form able to be articulated. When with another person, It can be hard to loose everything that makes you an individual. To loose that can be a bitch and a half.
Ofcoarse, "not everyone trips balls on shrooms to reach ego loss/death". Blame that on what ever you want. I was not trying to contradict that in any way. So ya, not too sure what the hell you guys are saying.

I personally have only had good trips. I guess its because I believe that a bad trip is all in my head (and i dont care to know if its true or not) and that mentality has kept me from having one to date.

I always tell people that mushroom trips are never easy, but always fun. Mushrooms aren't like other drugs I've done, they require a little bit of work/cooperation on the user's part. I get kind of annoyed at people who have only smoked weed, and are like, "I wanna try mushrooms!" I try to explain to 'em that one can't try 'shrooms, you either do 'em, or you don't. They aren't something you dive into half-assed or you'll end up being the guy with the scared look on his face the whole trip, who wants to be alone or wants it to stop. There's always one guy like that when I do them in groups of more than three.

My last big trip was like this except I didn't piss my pants. I was aware just enough to get up and go. (It was so fun/funny. I was alone, and every time I got up to go to the bathroom, I'd avoid looking at the mirror and my dick. My vision was so distorted that those were two things I just didn't want to look at in that state. But I did look at my hands and it was so tight 'cause one hand (my right) was so small, even tiny and the other hand was ridiculously huge, like an inflated balloon, it was even tied off in a knot at my wrist, like a balloon would be. So tight!) It was on my largest dose yet (3.5 grams) and I had been working up to five or seven grams, but it's got me wondering if I do that much, if I should wear a diaper. After wizzing, I'd go back to my bed and slip back into a psychedelic rainbow world, completely unaware of the world outside (practically comatose) except when I'd have to go pee again.
But, yeah, almost all my trips have required a little bit of work on my part.

I've had a few '100% good trips', but they tend to be the ones I value the least.
My most difficult trips, have also been my most worthwhile, memoriable, and benifical for me. I dont mind going through some hell to catch a glimpse of heaven, and then you appreicate it 10x more.

My first trip was 100% good, excluding the comedown (which isn't exactly part of the 'trip') which was kind of bothersome. For me it depends completely on mindset, since then I'm pretty much the same as you, there are at least SOME bad parts during the trip, but I feel I don't have the 'perfect' mindset I did at the time of my first trip.

Now, now, Stemmer.
As for a perfect trip, yes, I have had one. Not even my sister trying to scare me by clapping in my face and yelling loudly, or the brush with an authority figure could ruin how good I felt that night.
It was an important experience, but not really as "spiritual" (and I use that term loosely) as I had wanted. Next time, I suppose.

That was exactly what I was saying..... ThreePieceSuit, the "now now stemmer" part of what you were saying just proves that you cant read, or dont feel like you should have to read what someone says before trying to belittle them. How lame that is ThreePieceSuit.............

Nah, its still pretty lame as is your comment asscap.
PLEASE READ FIRST(my comments) if you feel the need to stunt the growth of the conversation at hand in order to belittle someone, even someone who knows what they are talking about.
I would love to take the focus off of this thread to tell you how out of line you are. Just trying to give my point of view on 100%good trips VS "worse" trips. So sorry............
Going ahead and being logical shouldnt be offensive to anybody. Even when I am making fun of their simple ways. SHit talking on the internet is not my thing unless I am making some sense when I do so.
So now, now you two might want to stick to the subject.
