Time to Wake Up!
    #5688653 - 05/29/06 09:48 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

What was your wake up call?  The moment when you blinked, looked around with dawning awareness, and recognized that you were on this trip?

For me, it happened the morning I woke up feeling dread, and noted that I could not remember the last time I hadn't felt that leaden heaviness in the pit of my stomach.  The light bulb blazed & I saw clearly that I was choosing my experience every day, and I could choose a different experience.

Life has expanded from there.

i don't know if there ever was a pinnacle, I just came the gradual realization of

WTF!

I mean I guess various traumas have reminded me of the impermanence of it all...... Columbine being one... 9/11 another. Bad drug experiences. Good drug experiences. Lucid dreams.

Well I'm on my knees hoping for a change, I still need to experience a new sort of waking up in the morning and choosing how to feel I guess.
