Your "mind" and your emotions are simply bi-products of the natural processes of your physical body.

How would you define "spirit?"

spirit cannot be defined.

but it defines your existence.

your mind, emotions, and body are all a product of your spirit. It is your father, mother, and master.

your avatar is weak. prepare to fall, luciferian

you put the finite over the infinite? I see where your priorities lie, so I will not get too attached to your existence.

One of spirit's many functions is to be the little voice in your head that tells you to do the right thing.

Many people block out this voice early on in their lives, and thus cut themselves off from the spirit's vast wealth. I pity these people, for they are truly damned.

For though the spirit does not often show the way to material gain, it is always the guide to true wealth, the wealth that goes beyond the material.

Thus, those who have ignored and cut themselves off from their spirit are those who have traded the wealth of the infinite and eternal for the fake blessing of material reward.

Enjoy your gold, and fancy motorcar, and enjoy your meaningless sex. For that is all you will ever have, and when it is gone as all finite things must come to an end, so shall you come to an end, having traded the path to immortality for the path to oblivion.

I think that you have mistakenly combined the two separate definitions of materialism.
