Possible Sterilization of Syringes

Is it possible that my syringes are being inadvertently sterilized by the USPO or something? I'm three days into innoc and no growth. This isn't particularly surprising given the WBS jars but my LCs are just as clear as the day they went in.
I'm really beginning to wonder. This is after two (suspected) duds from a vendor and these are the replacements. And my vendor has a good rep around here.
No growth, even bad growth. Temps have been 83-85F without fail for the entire incubation period. WBS and LC jars were allowed to cool for 2.5 days and 1.5 days, respectively.
I'm completely baffled.

Patience... That is the only thing I can suggest man. Its taken me close to 7 days to see growth in my 2 jars I innoced up. They are growing now Woot. (These are my first 2 jars BTW) -Me

JoeMama, if my syringes are filled with non-viable spores, what good will patience do me?
The previous setup has been incubating for over a month with no myc. So patience doesn't quite seem to be cutting it.

Wait splif, did the syringes work in an LC or did you go straight to the jar?

Three days and looking for myc? I agree patience is in order at least this time around.

I have nine WBS jars and three LC jars. None have shown any growth whatsoever.

I was under the impression that LC starts within three days. I would have more patience 'cept a month of patience turned up nothing on my first grow. And this grow is following the same trajectory as the last.

Spores101. I purchased one syringe but they sent two. Both came up with nothing for whatever reason. So they replaced that syringe and I also won a syringe, so two came in the mail.
I knocked up my dozen jars on the 26th. The syringes, while in my custody, never exceeded 86F. And I shook the PISS out of those babies. Tapped them against a book for a full minute, too.

I have noticed with my LC that if let it form alittle before you use magnetic stirrer it seems to speed it up alittle. I did one and put it on the magnetic stirrer right away and it took almost 6 days before I saw anything, then on my last one I waited 3 days to start seeing anything then put on the magnetic stirrer at a very low speed just a nough to see a nipple and it started producing alot faster. I feel for all the trouble you have been having with them. I remember my first posting was about sponsers and you had just gotten your first replacement from them. I know this isnt any help but maybe it is time to switch sponsers or matbe try trading something for some prints in the market place, it is what I have done. I will help in any way I can.

This batch I stirred all three LCs on the magnetic stirrer for 5 minutes or so, just to get them worked in. They've been left off the stirrer since.
Just checked 'em again. Day 4. Nothing. Grr.

Well I have personally "popped" stubborn spores a few times by raising the temps above 100F. give her a try if you like (overnight).

A tablespoon of honey in 1 pt of water, PC'd for 15 minutes at 15 PSI. Removed, liquid is filtered through two cofee filters, then re-PC'd for another 15 minutes.
The lid itself is agar's tubing+polyfill+RTV style. Or at least I think it's agar's.
I STAND CORRECTED. Every one of my jars popped in the last day. Every one.
So 5 days total. Apparently patience is precisely what I needed.
