The moon
    #5688057 - 05/29/06 07:34 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

What part of the horizon does it rise in? As in the sun rises in the east, what direction does the moon rise in?

Making the noise "penicillin" is no substitute for actually taking penicillin.

Every astronomical body rises in the east.

Read the thing about how far away it gets from the earth, it moves away from us at the same rate our fingernails grow

Moon compass, for the Wood Lords:
Stick a staff into the ground on a moonlit night. Make a Mark at the tip of the shadow. Ten minutes later, mark the new point of the tip of the shadow.
Draw a line in the sand between the two points.
This line is East West.
Follow the wind at your back.
