what happens if I

What happends if I leave a cap in a jar for 3 days by mistake to make a print and the print is there . Is the print still good?

this happened to me once too.. I just removed the cap and added distilled water and shook it. some of the spores may dry to the bottom, but most should lift..

As long as there is air to keep it dry it should be fine. I had a cap in a jar and my friend closed the lid tight. The inside of the jar got wet, the print was ruined and the cap had started to rot.
