this pic is too big... http://heritage.stsci.edu/1998/30/big.html
looking at it i realized if i could see all the stars, the sky would actually be solid white. or solid light. yellow/red/blue all mixed
black sky is illusion, theres actually a star in every single direction in the sky. probably. if you go far enuf. so the black sky is actually light

no.. the stars are at different distances/brightness levels.. The Light that makes it to earth is not enough to fill the night sky. Look at space.. why isn't that solid light?

You have to host your pictures at another site and then put the appropriate code in your post.

I doubt it, it's called "space" for a reason
Think about it, stars are so far away they are essentially points of light, it could probably be solved statistically, but it's probably less than half the sky area could actually be stars.

Here is a weird cloud that formed over my neighborhood one day so I snapped a pic of it...
see the white lines to the right of those clouds? those are chemicals let into air by airplanes for weather modification. that is my guess. beautiful

I read one of his books.
I feel that with the experiments he could have published the best photo that conveys his message. That leaves room for doubt. So i too would like to see more trials and photos. i would actually like them to publish numerous photos from each experiment, even if they arn't as pretty.

Wrong. Those clouds are called "Lenticularis", and form over areas, that have totopgraphic lift, when the upper level flow is strong.

He was refering to the clouds that are over the mountain, the cone shaped one. Those are Lenticularis.
Do a google image search for "mesocyclone." Very cool looking clouds that have the potential to be very deadly.
Here's a picture I took... Not sure if it'll make you say wow, but here it is:

Here are more trippy clouds

How would you like to see this coming at ya

No wonder i have trouble finding a good place to set my telescope up! USA at night

Wow. Wish I had a cabin here!

I do live near this. I took this pix about 2 years ago on the Little Red River.

And they wonder why they were called "wandering stars" back in tha day. Mars in its retrograde loop.

That is Neptune or Uranus just above and to the right of the loop.

You gotta love how dark it is in the mountains of Colorado at night. That's where I go to stargaze, if it's clear and dark enough you can make out the milky way. And also, the reason you can't see nothing but light in the sky at night is because all the light from the infinite number of stars hasn't reached us yet. If light traveled instantly you would see nothing but light at night, fortunately for us it doesn't.
-------------------- The story goes, or the way that I was told There was a king that always felt too high and then he fell too low And so he called all the wise men to the hall And begged them for a gift to end the rises and the falls But here’s the thing, they came back with a ring It was simple and was plainly unbefitting of a king Engraved in black, it had no front or back But there were words around the band that said Just know: This Too Shall Pass

Those top two pictures look like they have been made with gravity 3D. It's this really cool program which simulates collisions between galaxies in real time and often results in beautiful pictures. It calculates the trajectories of hundreds of thousands of start (if your PC is fast enough)

I love electric sheep. I have about 7 gigabytes of sheep now. That's quite a flock I just hope they increase the resolution, it's a bit grainy.
Best, always unique, visuals ever: http://www.electricsheep.org/
Quote:
Electric Sheep is a free, open source screen saver run by thousands of people all over the world. It can be installed on any ordinary PC or Mac. When these computers "sleep", the screen saver comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as "sheep". The result is a collective "android dream", an homage to Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
Anyone watching one of these computers may vote for their favorite animations using the keyboard. The more popular sheep live longer and reproduce according to a genetic algorithm with mutation and cross-over. Hence the flock evolves to please its global audience.

this photo really doesn't mean much.. it is sort of wow. the original wowness in my mind came to its pinnacle when i saw this pic and thought, wow, this is floating in our universe somewhere. this actually exists and i pictured myself standing however far away from the sun i would have to be for it to look as big as it does in the picture, a couple hundred miles maybe, and pictureing how awesome it would look. i enter the causal plane and wow my way to wowwy wowness
i usually have always pictured the sun as a big yellow ball... understandably since that is all you can see of it. but when i picture that the sun is actually like this, the lesson is to "don't go by appearances"

i'm having trouble explaining. it's like there is a step each person has to make in thier mind. no matter how well any idea is explained (and i experience this alot and think alot of others do too), it is up to the reader to actually "Work" with it themselves. just reading each word doesn't get you to the place the writer is.
this idea says that the SUN that ________ the freaking SUN whatever it is
looks like THIS ^^^^ its not a yellow ball
it is constantly morphing in a psychedelic mushroom visual and exploding in light.
so you see, the picture is just one level. it is perhaps a picture you would want to look at. everything has many levels. there are levels within the levels. is anyone getting this? the sun is changing all the time!

Driving home from my mountain cabin.
 Near my cabin again
This rainbow came after a storm at my college.
From outside my window, both were takin from there. Notice it's a double.
Another rainbow popped up a few days later too. I was walking to hand in a report and it came around. Everyone, and I mean every one of the thousands of people walking around, stopped and was looking at it. Its not everyday you see a thousand people just stop and look. It was cool. I was able to see the entire arch, except for the ends.
