the conditions are 65-75 degrees F, and ive been misting once or twice a day (10-12 pumps)... i have the casing inside a file cabinet so maybe it's not getting enough air? ive been fanning it twice a day. should i put the lid back on for another week and see what happens? any help is appreciated.

thanks

I don't think a filing cabinet would be a good fc. Put top back on and get a PMP with perlite.Just my opinion.

FYI it's way too dry bro read my pinning strategy and follow it to the letter! Can you see the obvious difference between pic#1 and pic#2? Anybody else  notice anything? GL bro you'll get it going in no time. Just remember myc thrives in a nearly saturated environment.

not only is it way dry, but it looks more like cobweb to me
more grey and thin, than white and thick
maybe it's just the quality of the pic though

You'll need to create FAE's in that tub, either holes w/polyfil or lots of fannings and keep it misted don't let that verm dry at all!
