things are getting confusing

I cut up about a 12" high, 4" diameter san pedro this morning and cleaned it up untill all I had was the dark green skin that is around the cactus. Boiled it in some water strained and drank. It has been about an hour and a half since ingestion, maybe less and things seem to be getting more confusing. I am having a hard time reading some of the threads on the BB, due to the fact that I am forgetting what I read right after I read it. Hope this turns out to be a good time. The snow is plentiful outside and the sun is out, so everything looks beautiful right now. I hope this was a large enough dose to feel strong effects. I will try to keep people updated on the experience.

I feel heavily sedated right now. My body and limbs feel extremely heavy, and my mind seems anxious but dulled.

my stomach seems to be turning uncontrollably. I feel so nauseated right now, and I am not sure if it from the discusting brew that I am forced to drink, or if it is the mescaline itself.

Could be either. Even synthetic mescaline has been known to cause stomach distress.

i wish I had to patients to do a correct extraction of the mescaline to obtain mescaline sulfate or mescaline HCl, but I was just to stoned when the cacti arrived. I think it is the acidity of the lemon juice/water solution used to extract that is giving me a bad case of gut rot.

As time goes on the feeling in my stomach is not passing, but the hallucinations are getting stronger. I am seeing a lot of periphreial vision hallucinations.

Smoked a bong not to long ago, and damn are the effect of whatever is making me feel like this are strong. The aural halluciinations are craze, and music is totally controlling my trip. I can "see" invisible images dancing right in front of me, to the beat of the music.(Radiohead Kid-A)

Everything around me (chairs, table, plates, computer, etc) seem to be alive. Everything seems to possess its own spiri or life. Everything can breath, and is just more beautfiul.

I forgot i was wearing a hoodie for a while there, It feels like I am in some kind of bubble with my hoodie up. I am really beginning to feel the effects, I would estimate that I got about a very good dose. My body seems to be folding and waving along with the entire room. I am amazed i can still type right now.

Unlike mushrooms which seem to cause things to 'melt' and form patterns, it seems more like there are patterns just above the surface of everything. Living patterns, like the patterns ants make in ant farms. It has a living feeling like that to it, but it is much more complex and breathtaking.

Sitting still for long periods of time (such as now while I sit at the computer) seem to bring out the effect more and make me feel almost out side of my body. But when I get up and move around the visuals, and hallucinations are lessened or stop.

smoked a bong full of good bud, and effects of mescaline seemed to disappear. The bud is beginning to wear off and the mescaline is again coming though loud and clear. Not sure if the bud caused effects to subside, or if trip it coming in waves. I will update if I figure it out.

the text in front of me seems to be bending and almost coming out of the screen. 2 dimentional objects such as pictures on this computer screen seem to be taking on 3 dimentional life, and kind of protrude from the screen.(((((<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>))))))))):). almost like its reaching out and touching me.

Well things seem to be calming down for a minute again, and I did not blaze this time so I think I can conclude that the mescaline intoxication comes on in waves.

I hope all the self rambling within this thread is benefiting somebody out there.

I did a low dose of it last week and I really enjoyed that. And i actually had a good time hanging out and posting here all day. During the times I was not posting I was writing, reading, or listening to music so i still had wondeful time today, and to be quite honest I am still enjoying it. This stuff lasts a long time. I took off at around 1130am and it is 617pm here now.

hah!  that is exactly how i felt... some friends and myself had some bud that we smoked periodically after comsuming the cacti, and you'd be high, but then you'd just slide right back into the trip.  it was a very enjoyable experience imo.  recommend it to all :cool:

I did San Pedro with a shaman in Cuzco, Peru at the inca moon temple. It was very mild. Me and my wife just wondered around in the temple and its surroundings. Things looked interesting, but that's about it. We asked the shaman for more but he didn't have any. I think he thought we were newbie tourists. We sort of laughed at him and told him about some of our heavy duty psychedelic experiences.
