i have one jar that is almost completely colonized. i noticed today there is five pin-head sized spots of green. is there any chance since the mycelium is so advanced, it will overtake the green. i mean the spots are very tiny and down towards bottom, right against the glass, so its not a line coming down from the top, they are pretty well isolated.

I have _never_ had a cake or anything else (casing) recover from the green. Every now and then a post will pop up where somebody had a cake that made it past the green. If you have other jars, I wouldn't risk cross contamination and just chuck the one. If this is your only jar, wait it out and see what happens. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. :frown:
