Swim will be planting some mother plants late this year. OgKush, and Mango(about 4-8 mothers, because after all they will bud to biggrin.gif )
This is the soil mix Swim will be using. smile.gif
Quote:
the bulk of the mix – about 70% of the finished product – is made up of equal parts peat or sphagnum moss (I prefer coarse cut sphagnum moss) and perlite. Then worm castings are mixed in to about 15% of the finished product. About 10% of the finished product is made up of some kind of organic compost, either green or brown. Any rich green manure will do, or bat/seabird guano or seaweed for that matter. The final 5% is made up of a mixture of about equal parts trace mineral elements, granulated charcoal, washed sand and volcanic ash. To this mix a specific dry fertilizer may be added, depending on if the soil will hold a plant in vegetative or flower cycle.
Root your Toot
Swim plans on using 3 gallon buckets for his little(late planted)clones, and 5 gallon buckets for his mothers.
Does all of this seem sound?
Swim has alot more $ these days and is thinking about maybe even getting a GPS system, its funny, in the newest issue of CannabisCulture, they talk about using googleEarth to find spots. Swim thinks thats a great idea. Water, and privacy. Thats all swim needs.
Clones in the bush , and fat happy mothers at home. wub.gif (multiple places......because swim knows the importance of keeping your eggs in little piles. Or something.
Updates to follow. (Swim's seeds are sprouting, but during a MOVE he misplaced the ogKUSH seeds , so once he finds those stoned.gif , he will be back on track)
But they are sprouting, as are the mango.

mango from KC brains? well from people i know they love the mango. especially outdoors. i guess its all about the plant you get, from seed they have many variations. at the same time i have heard some get ravaged by insects outside. mango= KC 33(brazilanxthai X afgani) = meaning lots of variation. i know there are quite a few mangos floating around that are better then KC brains, and have no relation.
