quick question: online purchases/legality

I'm ordering some stupid shit, some rolling papers, some tobacco etc, and for some reason this site says you've got to be 21 to order it. I'm 20, but I don't see the big deal, since it's all legal after 18, not 21, so the question is, it has an "enter birthdate" thing...it says:
You must be 21 years of age to order any tobacco product. If you purchase cigars and or pipe tobacco products from this site you are certifying that you are over the age of 21. Individuals who are caught attempting to purchase these products under the age of 21 will forfeit their payment and be subject to full prosecution under the law.
so should I put the year one year back and just order the stuff anyway? I figure if anything happens I could always claim I thought I saw "86" when I clicked "85." I'm fairly sure if I did do it there wouldn't be any problems, but it's just so stupid since it's 18 every where in the country except a few random websites. anyone have experience of this nature?

wow, thats pretty gay. maybe they figure that you can choose to smoke at 18, but you are not mature enough to choose what to do with paps untill 21...
i bet that if we let whoever wanted smoke whenver they wanted to smoke (cigs) the world would be a better place...the people who did choose to smoke young would die young and wed all learn our lesson

Meh, just lie. I don't see them going to any great lengths to verify you're 21 as long as they get their $$.

lol after I ordered it said "you need to present a vaild form of identification upon delivery." so that means I have to bullshit the mailman. or you know, give them some money. fucking ridiculous too considering it should be 100% legal for me to buy any/all tobacco products I fucking want. `maybe they just have some wierd law in colorado(where the place is).

My parents ordered wine online and the UPS driver delivered it when I was home alone. Basically he told me to lie to him and tell him I was 21. No one found out and the package got delivered. Im sure whoever delivers it wont care what your age is as long as they get the job done.

I ordered a pipe when I was like 17 and was told I needed to have ID when it was delivered. The guy never asked to see it, just handed me the package and left.
