Panaeolus Cyanescens grown on coir

Guy I work with has grown for the past I don't know how many years. We always talk about mushies because we have nothing else in common :smile:

Today we were talking about panaeolus cyanescens. He swares he use to grow them on coir some years back & never used any dung what so ever. I can't find anything saying it is imposible to try to prove him wrong besides persional opinion.

I would like to know either way if it is possible. Thanks in advanced for the help

In my experience, coir makes a poor substrate for pan cyans. It's better than bagged cow manure, but doesn't come close to touching horse manure.
