Quick Question About WBS

Ok, so I have a spawn bag of WBS that has been colonizing for some time now. I broke it up, let it recolonize, broke it up, let it recolonize.
Today is the day that I am planning on using it. For the past 2 weeks, my spawn bag with completely white. Just now, after breaking it up to mix with my spawn, it appears to be its orginal color. Not the bright white that it was. I am assuming that it is infact fully colonized, and the act of breaking it up makes it appear as if it isn't. On every seed you can see a little bit of myc still sticking to it, but its not fully encased.
So I ask, is this normal? Is this what fully colonized and broken up wbs should look like?

Yeah man, I was surprised the first time I broke up a WBS cake and that happened. It looks like white paint is splattered on it. Noticeable growth usually resumes within 2 or 3 days.

So in this state, after breaking it up and seeing how it appears, would it be safe to open the spawn bag and use it? Should I wait a few days and let it recolonize? I would think if I do, then the same would occur after I break it up again.

Use it immediately. Why let the WBS colonize again just to pull it apart again? You will eventually lose either moisture or nutrients rendering the spawn (WBS) dormant.

Awesome, I'm glad I don't have to wait around any longer than I have already.

Update:
Well I used my spawn bag.. hope it goes well. I broke it down, some seeds didnt look colonised, but I may just be worrying too much. I mixed it in with two 10x10x3.5 inch containers of h/poo.
The plan is to let them sit and after fully colonised, shred them both in a food processor and use that for spawn for my monotub. The mono tub is huge so I need this middle step.
Of course, if all goes well I'll have a boatload of pics for everyone's enjoyment. If it goes how'd I'd like, it will make my last bulk grow look like a pf tek cake... and I had over 8 dried ounces then.
