np! doesn't it just have a good vibe to it? Us and Them by pink floyd has a great happy/chill vibe to it too.

I thought "Runaway Train" was written by someone else... don't remember the name, but I can picture the video... was it a cover?
Also: Petty's "The Last DJ" (I believe it is his most recent release) has a few really awesome songs on it, and is really pretty good all the way through.
I need to pick up some more stuff from him.
Petty is the man... he's very good at what he does.

i heard lots of conspirious theroes..cann't spell tonight sorry.
but do a google and you will find all kinds of stuff saying things like tom petty went into a coma, and he put hints into his songs and stuff that he wrote...and how he's songs changed since then ect.
p.s. runaway train sounds very much like petty to me?

Well the name of the band I was thinking of just popped into my head... it was "Soul Asylum"... a quick google search shows me that one of their known influences is/was Petty, so it makes sense that they would cover one of his songs.

I prefer "I Won't Back Down"
"Well I wont back down, no I wont back down You can stand me up at the gates of hell But I wont back down
Gonna stand my ground, wont be turned around And Ill keep this world from draggin me down Gonna stand my ground and I wont back down
Hey baby, there aint no easy way out Hey I will stand my ground And I wont back down.
Well I know whats right, I got just one light In a world that keeps on pushin me around But Ill stand my ground and I wont back down
Hey baby there aint no easy way out Hey I will stand my ground And I wont back down No, I wont back down"
