And the Earth Spoke: I Am Alive, who will hear me?

Everyone of you are made from me...
Your cells are generated from matter from my fish, my animals. my plants...
your DNA I created with a mix of chemicals which I concocted.
The animals all about the world listen to me when I speak, I warn them when a tsunami comes, lest they survive, I tell them where to migrate to to survive,
Yet humans, who claim to be the smartest of all, fail to hear me at all.
I provide Weed and Shrooms for you to become more aware and closer to me, and yet you still think that the most important thing to you is some God out there in the heavens?
What about me, having my blood sucked out to power your machines, tearing up my insides in pursuit of wealth, poisoning my waters and all the creatures that dwell on my lands and in my waters.
I created you from all that I am, and you have forsaken me.
I challenge each and everyone of you to see if you can survive without me.
You may have to think about it soon, cause the way things are going, I will die like my brother Mars....
So next time you imbibe the fungus or plants I make for you, please think of me...
the living, breathing Earth that gave you life,
what am I getting in return?

Sounds more like Percivale through Percivale.
Some self evident truth though.

The Earth Spirit is very wise and very ancient, and very cool!

One of the best posts I have read in a long time.

What we perceive as God....is really just the spirit of the Earth
God......or the creator of the universe.......is so far above us that our conscious mind cannot perceive Him. All we can perceive is the next level of consciousness......The Great Mother Earth Spirit.....Gaia

I have heard this before, and I ask you, on what grounds can you make so bold a claim?
The Earth is below me, I will not be decieved into elevating my perception of it.

the earth is a ball of matter
it controls me through with it's gravity
i have gravity too
i can dig it up
i can swallow it and digest it
romanticizing over gaia is beautiful sure
what about the Sun and moon, without them and their exact position and exact size, there would be no life on this planet at all
don't weep over the ball of matter beneath us children are more important
the earth serves as a playground
i love the playground
but it's not my home
my home is in the spirit just like the earths true home is inside the spirit as well

I love the Earth, and I love the sun. I'm fairly indifferent to the moon.
 Peace.

This belief has been around much longer than the Christian religions. Most, if not all aboriginal/tribal cultures, saw the world this way. What makes you so sure that what you perceive as God isn't really Gaia? Everything you are, came from the Earth(mother) and Sun(father).
How do you KNOW that God didn't set things into motion this way. With each Sun and Earth, in the universe, having to create life. Not just plants and animals. But sentient thinking beings...humans(the Hands of God)
Quote:
The Earth is below me, I will not be deceived into elevating my perception of it.
The Earth is above you, below you, and inside you. You are not separate from it in any way.
Quote:
Walk with the almighy...
The "Almighty Creator of The Universe" Is so far above us that we can neither perceive him, nor him us. We are merely carbon specks to him that may, one day, evolve into something worth his attention.
The Mother and Father have challenged us in sufficient ways to create sentient, thinking creatures. It is up to US to get past this carbon shell, and evolve in to true, sentient energy. Only then will we be worthy of Gods attention.
We are like a spore. A carbon shell with a tiny piece of sentient energy inside, waiting for the right conditions to grow.
Quote:
Hide from him...
Being aware of a higher conscience isn't hiding from nor denying god. It is just a different perception of what god is.
Quote:
Think about it.
I have, trust me, I have. Don't be so easily fooled by the man-made religion that you blindly follow.
Think outside the box.

The "Almighty Creator of The Universe" Is so far above us that we can neither perceive him, nor him us. We are merely carbon specks to him that may, one day, evolve into something worth his attention.
The nature of phenomenal reality includes at the core a creative, a destructive, and a maintaining principle. This is directly observable. Giving the creative energy fancy names and personifying it can be entertaining for a time, but don't let that fool you into thinking that it exists somewhere outside of phenomenal reality, since after all, it IS phenomenal reality.
You are one aspect of the Almighty Creator of the Universe.

Agreed, much of that is metaphor.
We are God, evolving ourself, into the next level.
But the next level, isn't the last level.
It's just another step along the way.
God can only affect the physical world, thru our physical bodies. The sentient energy in all of us, is a miniscule piece of God. With the right conditions, this piece of God within us, can grow/evolve into something much greater than We are now.
