My first armed robbery experience

Protect yourselves people, today had to be the most intense day of the year. I was goin to get some pills, the week before I lost money in an unrelated situation, but this time I decided to go with my friend and play it safe (ironically) We waited in the backyard of some dudes house, for about 15 minutes. Kid kept stalling and then his parents left. I dont expect robberies to happen in front of peoples house, but this dude set me up. He wanted us to wait there for the other people to leave so they can send some shit bag gang banger over to pull a gun on us. So getting more anxious, we wait and then this tall black dude comes around askin us if we needed trees. Then he asks me for the time and when im reaching for my phone, he pulls a gun on me. "Empty out your mother fuckin pockets" I gave him the money, my friend is telling him "dont do this man, just dont" He asks for more, I pull out my phone and just jetted. Ran a quarter mile from this son of a bitch and called the bastard, letting him know that hes gonna get it for setting us up. Problem is, I dont own a gun. There are a million ways I can think of harming this individual, but now my friends on the streets with beef on his back, and I dont want him getting hurt. Should I propose a vendetta if anything were to happen to my friend?

How about you give up drugs? You'd think that be the smart thing to do. Something's telling you it might not be worth the hassle.

How much money did you loose???
This is VERY important when deciding a course of action. Action on behalf of those in war when an ocean of targets is considered must be precise. Was the gun loaded, could you have dropped kicked the pistol out of the motherfuckers hand, Is your ninja better than his ninja? How much money was at risk, did you get played? You already put yourself in a sketch situation. Problem one, when I bust, I put myself in a sketch situation. Nine times out of ten, it's my own mis-judgment, not 'the world hating me' that makes me loose something.
Loosing money sucks. Think about it.

At this point I dont really give a shit. I lost about 200 dollars and an 8th of shrooms. I hope the bastard eats the entire thing. The gun was probably not loaded, the neigbor in the backyard was having a BBQ, so I sensed the hesitation with the other dude. I told my friend that this sounded extremely sketchy, but he said it was ok. This dude was pretty big tho, if one of my other friends came, we could have took him. But we were foolish. Im not a hero dude, if I ever feel like my life is being threatened, I would rather compromise then facing a potentially fatal incident.

Why don't you toss your buddy that you were talking about in psych experiences ( here ) a little cash to put the fear of god in the kid that set you up? Just a suggestion.

I have a theory, however I do not wish to test it, lol... My theory is... if someone pulls a gun on you to rob you, just run like hell in the opposite direction. 1.) They will shoot you, but if they shoot you in the back, they probably would've shot you anyway. 2.) You get away, problem solved.
I guess there is a third possibility of they run after you and beat you up and then take your money, but if you run to a public place at least they have more of a chance to get seen/caught therefore they are less likely to do it.
I think it is wise to arm yourself, but I think it is equally wise to not put yourself into a possition that you'll need to use it. Most likely in the situation they would've had the upper hand. They would've pulled on you first so if you tried to pull on them afterwards the odds are in their favor that you are going to get shot.
Best sollution is to not put yourself into this possition in the first place... Grow/make your own, use your own, don't sell your own. And at very least, don't make transactions with people you don't know well/trust.

Why does your friend have "beef on his back"?

If you're a fast runner and you are zig zagging chances are some monkey who doesn't frequent the target range isn't going to hit you.

Lets be real here, if put in a similar situation as Jon, would you have more faith in your own body or some n**** that can't fucking aim? It's a coin toss either way. I'd take my chances, especially if it was dark out.

Fuck running. Option one is you get shot. Now, when you give them the money, you live. When you fight back, you either live or get shot. Now, WHY WOULD YOU RUN, when you could FIGHT, because both options end in possible getting shot, however when you run, you can't loot the motherfucker. But when you kick his ass you can tie him up, and drop him in the woods barefoot, 1000 miles from home in crayfish territory. Thus the only choice here is give the goods, or jack him the jaw while doing a quick arm movement to divert the line of fire( away from you or your friend or the hot chick sitting on the stairs) and kick the fuckers ass. Easy said, not easy done. Life. I can't imagine how I might react. I would give them, the money, unless I was naked then I'd have to kick some ass

I couldn't even begin to say. such a call would have to be made on-site, taking into consideration all factors such as terrain, is there a corner to duck behind, the body language of the attacker, etc. etc.

you also have to question yourself...is this guy really going to shoot you, its not like he is emotionless (most likely).
