The politics of being "The Bitch"

By "Bitch" I mean the guy who is on the lowest rung of the ladder in a social setting. In high school it could be the nerd who got picked on and never had any friends. In jail it could be the guy who gets beat up and has his stuff stolen. In the workplace it could be the guy that nobody respects. Etc..etc..
We have a "bitch" in my class at school. Several people pick on him mercilessly. He gets stuff thrown at him, insults hurled his way, and contempt showered upon him. I would feel bad for him, but he is a thief. I was out at a bar with him one time and he stole a wallet out of a woman's purse. Any shit that he has coming to him...he deserves it.
But, I can't help but feel for him sometimes. The abuse that is directed toward him is not meant to be joking...it is downright malicious. What he goes through on a daily basis in our class must be horrific. And he never stands up for himself. He either keeps quiet or chuckles. But, while feeling a small amount of sympathy for him I also feel contempt for him (and not just because he is a thief). How can I respect a person that does not have the balls to stand up for themself? He is totally emasculated as a man.

I often walk away, in school I always tried to, the few times I did use force I hurt the guy pretty bad, it took a while before anyone dared start shit again just because someone doesnt fight back, it doesnt always mean they cant, but that guy deserves to be someones bitch

Nobility is in right action on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves. Separate yourself from letting this situation penetrate your mental barrier. Either kick his ass, kick the bullies ass, or shut the fuck up( metaphorically)

This is a twisted mentality. Just because the stronger guy lets a weaker guy " run him down " does not mean the person in power 'deserves that' or even is harmed by that. Oh no. When you are in power, the true realization of that power is when you let those, whom you can crush so easily, talk shit to you, without putting them down in return. You can crush them with a finger( in theory). Yet still, you let them THINK they are ' the shit ' A display of power is warranted in some cases. With power comes great responsibility. Being ' the bitch ' is a good mental tactic to flip on the unexpecting in times of war.

Not at all. He's probably 5'9 and 215 pounds. He's one of the bigger guys in the class. I'm the smallest guy in the class at 5'7 145 pounds.

Power is an agreement. It exists in the realm of human interaction. It is not a physical entity but it is not an illusion either.

Yeah it is!!
However, The fact that an illusion of power, whether real or manifested by imagination, has the power to have a real( tangible) outcomes, is not up for dispute.
All I was trying to say, was that during the process of growing up, I realized I had great powers, and great weaknesses. And when I learned to utilize them maturely, I come to the conclusion that the mentality of preying on the weak, can really backfire.
Go ahead and feel sorry for the bitch randal, either he is, or you are. "It's just an illusion"

How well would you "disagree" as cops busted down your door and threw you to the ground? That is power. It is real.

28 cents can remove the illusion of power, shift the balance of power and solve the power dispute

if I were doing something that could put me in that situation, I'd also have a means of displayin my own illusion

Actually the most trained ninja can spit a penny out of his mouth, into the cranium of the most unsuspecting victim, through the eye socket. Thus, a 28 cent bullet is pointless. You're going back and forth with the point you are making. You basically switched sides on me. In a debate, you broke the golden rule

Straight up.
For the record, I played "the bitch" throughout late elementary and middle school, because I was shy, skinny, and socially awkward. And because I lived on the poor side of a rich town, and rich spoiled children are mean fucks.
There's no "politics" to being "the bitch", just a confused (possibly mentally handicapped) person who doesn't know how to handle a complex social situation.
All that being said, I've learned to appreciate negative experiences in my past, simply because you can't have the ying without the yang, and all that.
