I picked up these plastic rings from lowe's, in the section of plumbing pvc material) and a pair of black heavy duty gloves. Drilled 4 holes in each ring to put screw and nut in. Glued the gloves (using pins to hold corners in place temporarily) to the edges of the rings. Then screwed them in place. Voila!

You can also cut the holes so they're fairly snug around your arms, then just wear latex gloves. Be sure to wash your hands and arms first, then put on a freshly laundered long sleeve shirt to cover the skin on your arms.(dead skin cells flake off all the time and they'll have bacteria) Remember, a glovebox does not have to be totally airtight or sterile. It only serves as a place for you to open or inoculate jars or petri dishes in a draft free environment. I haven't used attached gloves in years because they're such a pain in the butt to work in. Latex gloves give you really good control. Of course, do your glovebox work in a very clean room with no fans or air conditioners etc running. RR

I like RR's idea better. Not having the restriction of the gloves being attached to the box makes things MUCH easier. I've used those heavy-duty gloves mentioned earlier on my glove box and I took them off almost immediately. They are too big, thick and akward to feel anything through them. Trying to gently squeeze a syringe or make a precise cut with a scalpel is a royal PITA with those. I disliked them so much, I'd send you the pair I have to see for yourself!

I agree with both of you. However, I am somewhat of a skinny guy, so my arms don't fit too snuggly in the holes alone...I have to have that extra padding provided by the gloves.
And Pris: Yea. It's pretty much the same thing as that.

I found that an empty coffie can and the yellow goves with the hands cut off works for me.
I wash then put sergical gloves on so that when I stick my arms in the yellow gloves stop and the sergical gloves kick in making a nice seal.
that is my 2 cents
