The langoliers see to that...;)

well, i was merely speaking in terms of traveling at speeds approaching the speed of light.

to go into the past you have to go beyond the speed of light to the point where light bends and refracts...and then it just gets crazy theory-ness on your ass from there.

wait, there isn't? doesn't light travel at a set/constant speed?

I don't buy the notion that light "travels", moves, whatever.

Its not a proven fact, its an error in perception. :smirk:

i'll need a day or two to answer your question properly, but i promise i'll get back to it.

i'll need some time to formulate an answer that will make sense of this for you.

it's definently not an error. it might be theory in perception, but not an error. using the speed of light as a measurement has been an extremely useful tool in so many facets of the science world.

I was joking.

I would never pretend to know much of anything that concerns physics, first and foremost, as I have simply not studied into it. What I would like to express as a possibility, though, might relate to the notion of quantam objects functioning as both a point particle and a wave. I openly request anyone with more understanding to properly express or elaborate on that, as I probably didn't even refer to it right.

Anyways, I think that light exists as both energy that our consensual reality perceives as moving as it relates to other aspects of reality and as a state.

I don't feel as though I could expand upon that thought linguistically. :frown: Light could be considered to be aspects of reality that are fully realized, perhaps.

Forgive me, as I am not well versed in metaphysics either.

"Anyways, I think that light exists as both energy that our consensual reality perceives as moving as it relates to other aspects of reality and as a state. "

i agree with that definently. but it still doesn't mean light doesn't have a maximum velocity.

Can you explain what Quatum entanglement is?

It's the idea that when particles are entangled they become anti-podal...

When one particle moves up regardless of distance the other particle moves down instantaneously..

Or when one particle goes off the opposite particles turns on..

This is true regardless of distance between the entangled particles..

Einstein called this spooky action at a distance.  Almost as if the particles are commun8cating instantly in a higher or lesser dimension.. 1d space/branes vs something like 10th dimension.

obviously when the particles are entangled and then apparently separated, they remain joined in a wormhole through which anything that fits can pass instantaneously.
our dimension is folded and stretched imperceptibly in a higher dimension when entanglement works.
obvious no?

Lets imagine particle rings..

This means the rotation of subatomic particles..

Imagine each circle or ring is a single segment of the wormhole..

Rotation and switch.. on and off..

Entangled as rings from one ring to another..
