Stealth Fruiting Chamber

Hey guys n gals. I've been lurking for a while and doing a TON of searching seeing that I'm trying to grow for the first time as soon as my supplies arrive. I want everything to be as stealth as possible though, and even though I searched for a stealth FC I couldn't find one I liked or that met my needs...so I needed to make my own idea. Unfortunatley the inside box is a little large so I needed to dremel some parts out (see the duct tape ). Hopefully the water that will be on the bottom with the perlite won't leak through.
Does anyone have an idea of what I can use for a cover? The cover that came with the container didn't fit when I tried to close the lid. Oh and the clear tub is a little to big for the other box so its tough to close but thats alright.
Well I'm just posting this right now as an idea for anyone that needs stealth, and because well, I needed to stop searching/lurking for a second and make a damn first post!
I hoping to fit a few casing in there and we'll see how my first grow goes! I'll post more interesting pics once I get everything really going.

I hear ya man. I've been searching for a stealth set-up for awhile 2 since my last grow back in December. I finally came up with an idea. I aint got any pics right now cuz I still gotta buy all the shit cuz the pc and other supplies put a big dent in my pocket but once I get it all set up i'm going to make a post of it step by step with pictures. So look out for my post cuz I think you'd might like it. I probably wont start working on the set up until like Monday so more like in 2 weeks I should have it posted.

hey, just wondering, but what are you gonna use as a light? I think tha is the downfall of stealth grows...because its hard to use the ambient light and also i would think there is a fire hazard with grow lights if you try to be sneaky...
just my few cents...

I don't think a trunk gets anymore stealthy.
Edit, and don't doubt its ability =D

God I love that pick so much I stare at it all the time.

Ya the light was something I was thinking about. Unfortunatley the only light I'll be able to supply it is when I'm fanning. You guys think that'll be enough? I was planning on trying the texas strain to try and combat this (read it barley needs light) but I'll open up the box a few times a day and get some light in. I can't run any cords or anything into the trunk. Maybe I'll grab those little LED's that go on valve stems (like car and bike tires) and blink when you move them in blue. Tap on it a bunch of times a day, it would be like a shroom rave in there.
Super nice stealth setups too. mikeownow I wish my trunk was as large as yours, it was a bitch finding a container that would fit decently. And eternal frost I saw your thread about yours last night and that looks like a real good setup...I would never guess an FC would be in there when its closed.
Keep the pics comin guys I love seeing good stealth setups to get new ideas from.

My stealth is a PMP so its getting air pumped into it =D Drilled a hole in the trunk, Ok I knifed it with my pocket knife for a few hours. Getting through the metal layer and thick wood was a bitch... but once I got to air it was harder.

Yep FAE is another concern but I'll easily be able to fan every 4-6 hours so I don't think it should be too much of a problem.

Yes LEDs would work fine for stealth FC. Also the stick-on battey powered 'push lights' would work well.
Id wire up some LEDs to a 6v camping light battery and a resistor. Should have plenty of capicity to keep you running a long time.

Thanks for the ideas for the lighting! I'm trying to stay on as low a budget as possible so do you think having a light would make a large different vs getting light on them when fanning? I've read light just helps em see which way is up?
Edit: And any ideas on what I could use as a cover? Would tin foil or seran wrap work or should I find something better? Seran (sp?) wrap I think would be best, I could mount a light on my trunk lid and it would shine right through.

From what ive always read the light it gets from fanning should be enough. and i would also think saran wrap would work as a cover.
