Thanks, that's the one. You don't need the kit and can do it all with the book.

Excellent my friend. We can support each other in this. I'm amazed you're jumping on this. Never expected that. You will like it. Ten days is an awesome first fast. PM me if you need anything at all or to chat.

I would recommend throwing in whole, fresh, ripe fruits into that diet. For a number of reasons.. but in general it's healthier than the juice thing. Spirulina is good. You should also check out alfalfa.
I made a post here yesterday - http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5673336#Post5673336
Here is a short link to the benefits of a fruit diet, with a few comparisons to the fruit juice diet. http://www.freedomyou.com/recipes/fruit%20diet.htm
And a more in-depth - http://www.healthy.net/scr/article.asp?ID=1558

I use the fruit thing to come off my fasts. Usually two or three days of fruit and then on to cooked and raw veggies and then ice cream and cake. (kidding)
Fruit fasts are excellent and very cleansing and healing. If you have blood sugar problems you need to be picky about the fruits you eat and the quantities. With fruit juices I dilute them 3 or 4 to 1` with pure water. I add stevia and then the sweetness is almost the same as undiluted. It saves a lot of money too.
Alfalfa, barley grass, wheatgrass, are all good additions along with spirulina.

Strange and interesting endeavour you have embarked upon. I really enjoy the way a good meal enhances the moment. However when I go without it for whatever reason ( wife not home to cook ) I don't find myself suffering. It just means I enjoy the food more when it finally does come around.

my friend, a word of advice
remember the sin of the old priests during the time of jesus (im not incredibly familiar only here say on this concept) who fasted for glory
your intent seems right but in the context it is presented here "challenge me" i have percieved it to be similar
perhaps i am mistaken, which is quite likely for i am not inside your head, and i, by no means, mean any offense by what i said in this post

I appreciate your advice.
Now I shall explain my plan.
I don't like my self-importance and believe it or not I have none around this quest. I do know that I can use it though for this endeavor. I need to push myself until my new energy takes over.
I thought about this alot because I knew how difficult this would be for me. I also know that this is important for me right now and not succeeding is not an option.(I wanted 10 days so I pushed myself into 20) I deliberately stalked my self-importance because I knew it would work and push me beyond my resistance. We shall see. Even having to explain myself to you is part of that stalking. Now I am investing myself in this. Let's see how well this works.
I wrote this to a friend this morning. We shall see if I am full of myself or not. I certainly shall not be full of food. I hope.

It certainly is. Especially if you've never gone without food a day in your life. Yet most of the problem is emotional. Now you are not starving at all. In fact you have often gone longer without food. But now you're focused on eating and your emotional connection to the comfort it brings is kicking in.
You will have to make a decision at this point. Can I face how this feels? Is this worth it to me?
Even if you quit now, that's ok. No harm and no foul. It's a tough one . Just put the information in your file and you can come back to it later.
Having said that I encourage you to continue. It will get better each day until one day your hunger has gone. Feel free to PM me for further advice and tips.

Or take Shroomism's advice and continue it as a fruit fast.

Some Ben and Jerry's ice cream then...that is good for fasting I hear. An ice cream fast....how pleasant.
