A helpful tip

HOLY SHITBALLS, BATMAN!
Some helpful advice that anyone who cultivates or otherwise can make use of.
When you come home from the bar at 3am after a night of debauchery,

DO NOT TRY TO COOK ANYTHING ON THE STOVE!!!

I don't know what the fuck gave me that idea, maybe so it would be cool in the morning? But this shit (pretty much all of it) takes a while to cook. Pasturizing ~ 2 hrs, PC'ing 90 mins. That's plenty of time to fall asleep (or pass out in my case) and wake up to an apartment full of rank smoke. Luckily all I fucked up was my countertops and noone complained because it was like 10am when I finally coughed myself awake. This could have been a lot worse - burning down the house, getting popo called, that's probable cause right there.

So, please, if you've got a good chance of falling asleep for any reason while whatever's cooking, just wait till later to do it. Ain't worth it for any of ^that^ shit to happen.

Ah, crap. This was supposed to go in Security & Safety, i think. still scattered from my superquick cleaning/evacuating smoke/refurbishing the countertop experience.

Would a mod be kind enough to toss this over there?(if that's where it'll fit best) Thank ye kindly.

For downers, i like Soma... Alcohol really aint my thang, too stupifying (but hell yea, i throwem back every now and again). 2-3 somas, some homegrown chronic, and a couple of good friends. My prefered way of pasturizing while fucked up (as i usually dont "do" anything but weed... the caps on the weekends w00t shr00mery!)

Otherwise, yes. VERY BAD IDEA! OH yea, nice use of the word debauchery! I cant drink liquer, but my debauchery involves 3-4 beers.... im a poon, what can i say.

Dont drink and drive, but more importantly, dont drink and pasturize

Teonanacatl, open up my eyes
This sacrament, this prayer, beyond the world of lies
Guide me clearly through that which I dont understand
Give me strength to find the path
Help me fight any demons as you flow through me wholely
This is my prayer, that you protect me from evil, and bring me closer to peace
And open up my eyes, so i can see things as you do
Amen

"i went to the bar for the music" - but seriously folks, I had almost no cash on hand and everyone took me under their wing (and in the bathroom etc).  Thanks a fuckton  :banghead:

The night wasn't a complete waste though.  I *did* manage to send off my "Labatt's Summer Patio" rebate when i got home so in case I did die in a housefire or get locked up, an $8 beer rebate check would be coming in the mail to help pay for the funeral/bail.

I do it all the time. The trick is to remember to set a very loud timer and place it right by your face. I do this for every cooking cycle, whether or not I'm sleepy, just in case.

RR has the right idea!

No matter if your sleepy or not... Set a Anoying loud timer to go off during each cycle... (i have used multiple timers for when i am sleepy)

Bad news, and yes i have fallen asleep during pc'n  2x

guess i don't learn from my mistakes....
