So afoaf has mushies growin in his closet. Due to others living in his house he cannot keep a steady light cycle. Do mushies actually need a light cycle or does spurratic light work.

'spurratic' light is fine. They are not like pot plants, they get virtually nothing from the light other than a direction to grow.

1-3 times per hour for air exchange? that seems like too much. maybe 1-3 times a day
