H-poo, Tub Size & TN Stud

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Planning my second grow, want to try bulk after successful run with PF in PmP. Looking into Tenn Stud 50/50 substrate and it comes pre-past. in 5, 10 and 20 pound bags. I'm going to be growing 4 seperate strains so the jars will colonize at different times so I want 4 bags of stud and 4 FCs. I can't figure out what size each bag will cover though. (i.e. will a 5-lb bag of stud cover a 10 gallon FC etc.) I want to get a bag for each FC because I want to open a bag and use it all immediately so as to limit the risk of contamination. I just dont want to open a bag and discover that I don't have enough. So anyone keen on poo bag to rubbermaid size ratio?
(BTW: This place is awesome, wish I had found it 3 years ago when I tried to grow a crop by innoc open air to over watered BRF in a dish tub covered only with a plastic bag, lol. I grew some mighty wicked looking mold though.)

What are the dimensions of the tub (tubs can be 10 gallons and still have different dimensions), and how many inches (high) of substrate do you want?

I have two of his pre-pateurized bags here. both ten pounds each.
Each one is a fp bag full. That's it.
That's not alot of substrate at all.
I strongly recommend getting the dry stuff and pasteurizing it yourself. You'll get 3x as much that way.
This 20 pounds appears to be able to do a tub about 30 gallons or so.

I actually sort of found answers in these two threads, but I'm still not totaly clear: Link 1 Link 2
As far as tub size, I havent purchased any tubs yet because I dont know what sizes to get. I'd like to use a 5lb bag per tub. Short of taking my poo into the store with me, I don't know how to figure up what area 5lb would cover.

5 lbs pre-pasteurized is nothing almost.
6inx4inx6in or so.
Get a bunch of dry poo.
put a trash bag in your tub. put however much poo you need in the bag.
This is how much you should pasteurize. It does not grow really at all when you wet it down, just gets heavier.

Yo Mitch. Do you know if they add any special ingredients to the ten stud or is it just shit? I ordered it out of fear that the hpoo I would find locally (sold in bags at lowes or wherever) would be leached of nutrients as I have heard.

leeching is what you want.
leeching removes ammonia.
It is just poo, nothing added.
poo.
don't buy bags from lowe's, go looking around your local stables. Get the dry nuggets if you can.

Dammit... was hoping to get away with a short cut. I hate sterilizing/pasteurizing every little damn thing. Thanks for the suggestions, I think I will go with dry poo, makes more sense and I can get it right the first time.
