Looking at cake in avanced state slow down colonization progress ?

Hi, It's just a hypothesis from my own observation. My Pf Tek jar seem to colonize slower when I look at them (under low light) 2 times a day than if a look at them 0 to 1 time a day. It's only speculation. Maybe in a advanced state, the cake received the little light as a pin formation signal, and then slow their mycelium growth to concentrate on the pins growth. Then when returning in darkness, re-begin slowly to colonize. Please don't tell me that it's because I look at them less often that I notice more growth! I already know that this is possible Maybe someone else notice the same thing ? I suppose that the reaction could be the same for grain colonization. Wise gardener

This should be posted in the Advanced section-but anyways what you're saying is perfectly feasible. I'm not sure that there is any concrete data of a process , but run a few experiments and MAKE LOGS !!(WITH PICTURES !!)
haha
Do two batches to start, one that you'll look at "X" amount of times a day and one you won't.
And compare data..oh and trip hard.

Personally I don't believe looking at your jars slows anything down.
Most of my jars sit on shelves in a room with a window that gets light 12 hours out of the day. Nothing is slow.
In fact, they work better in the room than in a tit due to overall temp consistency.
Just wait man.
Wait it out.
I think your assumption is bogus. However, I could be wrong
This is not a topic for advanced either, not even close.

That is what I was about to repost to you..haha
Nevermind and then some.
Good luck if you decide to test it all.
