Lost to contam???

12 Jars going...today is 15 days, B+...4 jars are real close but noticed the mean green in one jar. So, I opened the jar...(its about 85/90% colonized) flame sterilized a spoon and dug out the area. Sprayed the hell out of the area w/ h2o2...might this work?? Or should I just throw that one away?

Has anyone tried to save a jar??? Just lost another one...tried the same way...just wondering if I am waisting my time with these two...btw...the first jar I did this to the mycellium took over the spot overnight...but think I might have a little discoloration lower in the jar...not green...just off white/biege

Whats up Floyd ... I was bord looking around on this site and some guys posted that he noticed The "mean green" on his jars .. What he did was 50/50 Bleach and water .. Pulled it up with a empty needle and stuck in were the green was and put a 1/2 cc of it in there .. and it went away ... But dude it might have a good foot hole in the cake like inside that you cant see so .....BE AWARE THAT YOU SHOULD THROW IT AWAY ... I would... But i am just starting this hobbie... and thats what has been told to me as well . good luck

I would just toss it. I do casings and wouldnt want it to spread.
