Mycelium Consistancy

Ok so I'm having a good start at my P.cubensis Amazon-3 of my ten jars are half colonized-2 are to be considered 'duds' and the other 5 are inbetween (but growing nonetheless.
Now my question is what factors are pending to why my mycelium growth is inconsitant?

most likely you used a multi-spore inoculation. (spore syringe)
that is probably why.

I was thinking that temps could be a factor-at first (for about a week, dut a a lack of a heater) they were kept at around mid to low 60, but since then (inoculated the 2nd, now being the 25th) they've been kept with a heater at a constant 75-80 degrees ~

Yes I did use a spore-syringe, I'm going to get a nice print of each strain I'd like then I'll go all print.

a print and a spore syringe are the same thing.
multi-spore. meaning many spores.
alternitives: Liquid culuture (spore or clone) Shroom water (clone water) agar wedge Grain to Grain

good call.
Lc can still be multi-spore and may very in colonization times, however it will be much faster for sure. No time waiting for spore germination.
I like having LC of a clone either from shroom water, a tissue culture, or an agar piece dropped into the LC.
This way all mycelium grows almost perfectly at the same time and the fruits are all consistent and densely packed.
Cloning is the way to go for sure in my house.

So hypothetically speaking-if right now 7 of my 8 jars were fully colonized and the 8th was just about half colonized-for whatever reasons, do I have to wait for full colonization? I know that is expected for best results, but say I wanted to move an entire batch together to my FC, would that be looked down upon entirely for moving an unfinished cake?

always wait for full colonization.
never try to fruit a cake that is not colonized.
