Drinkin at the sin bar
    #5670047 - 05/24/06 07:53 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

A lot of Christians believe that they are drinking at the sin bar, and Jesus is footing the tab.

They show up in Church, they tithe their 10%, which they think is Jesus' cut, but is actually the cut of a bunch of crooked child-molestors.

They think that Jesus will foot the tab for their sins. Well he did once, but then he took over and instituted a new system of punishment and reward in addition to Heaven and Hell. Its called Karma and reincarnation.

The sad fact of the matter is that even if you are saved, Jesus ain't footin your tab. YOU ARE.

When you die, you will return to the God you believe in. And he will look at the events of your life and assign you a new life based on the morality of your actions. The life he assigns may be something much better or something much worse. THAT DEPENDS ON YOU.

So choose your actions wisely, and always try to have good intentions.

mmmmm

so why not just be a Buddhist and not worry about Jesus, so you can break free from samsara (reincarnation) and be one with God?

Or is that what Jesus is for.... breaking free right now or you keep recycling till you get it right?

you can end the cycle of incarnation in one life, if you do it right. Thats what eastern religion is all about.

what eastern religion doesn't say is that perfection and being with God gets boring after awhile. Its fun to incarnate! Its fun to lose everything and get it all back again. Its fun to have an ego and a personality and feelings, and a little robot body to do things with. I do it all the time.

I've been to heaven and hell and many alien worlds. But every now and then I come to earth just to hang out a little. It gets a little better and a little worse every time I come here. But mostly better.

maybe you're right, Icelander

perhaps I'll take your advice when I judge your soul- or lack thereof.

Thanks for putting the idea in my head.

Sounds like something out of the Manual of the Warrior of Light (Paulo Coelho). I don't think he often mentions pussies though tbh

Never read it or heard of it.

It's my quote and he can't have it. To pity some one is to put yourself above. To empathize is to share and understand. Empathy is the realization of our shared experience and our oneness with everything.

I agree with you here. But there are some times when pity is acceptable.

like when Mr T says: "I pity the fool"

Fuck Jesus, and fuck God. They don't exist, and there is no sin except for TV. All animals kill, and sometimes its just for fun. Shit happens, and if you can't move on... there is always therapy.
