Help me start an ethno garden

Whatever plants you feel are worthwhile. Any links to the ethno equivalent of the Shroomery. Good sources for plants and seeds. Tips you might offer.
My climate is warm all year. Not a big yard, but not an alley either.
I was thinking of morning glory, datura, salvia, cacti, etc.
And where is a reliable, reasonable place for peruvian torch cuttings?
Thanks

salvia wouldn't do too well outdoors unless you have a greenhouse, or so ive been told. datura and morning glory grow fast and hardy in many places.
cacti will be good in their own sepparate pots, so that each may be moved around for optimal lighting
you could plant some poppies too, or prickly poppies, or even california poppy. poppies are an awesome addition to the garden.
might try growing some HBWR and Ololiuqui too.

well i wouldnt waste my time growing khat from seed. everytime it never works for me, no matter what i do but hey thats just me. poppies are very easy, lagochillus inebrients seems very easy so far, morning glorys, hbwr, rivea corymbosa easy as well. kratom easy from clone pm me i will send you some seeds i have left(they grow too slow from seed for me so they are yours if you want). cacti are always plants you can ignore. its more or less what you want to get out of your garden. its not what you can do for your garden but what can your garden do for you?

Thanks guys!
I read on another post someone asked if bouncingbear had reliable peruvian torch, but nobody answered. Would you say that's a good source for the torch?
HBWR and Ololiuqui ?? I have some reading to do.
Are poppies legal? And are they the same that make medicine?
Any other links you like are appreciated.
Thanks again.
EDIT There was some recent discussion on the peruvian torch - but it seemed to be that there is no reliable source for peruv torch. ??
Go with san pedro instead?

well san pedro is always a safe bet. i have had mixed results with peruvian torchs. im starting peruvian torch from seed to see what kind of speciemens i get. i have had peruvian torch from bbb and still have a very large one. when it was tried it was my first time cooking cacti so my poor results good have been directly related to that. i will bioassay it one more time at the end of this summer and i will yet you know how it goes. bbb san pedro i thought was of exceptionally good quality, i would diffently go with that if you want a guarented quality plant.
