Hey everyone, this is my first post, however I am an avid browser of this awesome site. Recently as I was wandering in the woods near my house, I found a 5 foot san pedro specimen, what do you guys think? should I do an extraction and get mescaline sulfate, or should i just drink cactus goop? Im also wondering how much San Pedro would = a good dosage of mescaline.
thanks :-)

Yes im positive its San Pedro, also it was obviously planted and not growing natural. Also what would be a good way to cut it down? Should I dig it up or just chop it off?

perhaps if it's obviously planted then maybe someone else might be planning to do what you're planning to do.

ya wait for it to grow a more but if you must chop off about 12 or13 inches long so that the cacti might be able to fix itssely and make two new growing tips to come up.

Obviously planted by somebody and not growing natural... Should I dig it up or just chop it off?
Should I say you'd better plant one of your own and keep your hands off somebody's stash?

Im not stealing somebody's crops, these have been grown in this area for years, they are not intended for obtaining mescaline dosages..(thats where i come in)

If you are sure, then i suppose i wont frown upon you. haha. However i recently stumbled upon someones guerilla growing pot plant and have gone through much strife to come to the conclusion that i should just leave it be. i figure if you go through the effort to do something like that, you deserve the spoils.
You dont need to chop the whole thing down, just take what you need. kinda like the native americans. you probably only need 1-1.5 feet per person tops.

If you finally decide to do it, then at least cut it diagonally instead of across the stem. This way the stub will not collect moisture (when cut horisontally, it dries into a cup-like surface) and won't rot.
You could also leave a small part of the top of the cutting and plant it yourself. Such an attitude will be more respectful - when you take smth it's always cool to give smth back. Protect your teachers and have a nice trip!
