My mom just brought me all my old Baseball Cards

Anyone know if it's possible to look up old card values online? Or do I need to buy a book of card values at a bookstore or something? How frequently do those get updated? How much do the values really change?
If anyone cares I'll post what cards I have of some stand-out players.

I'd like to hear some of the rooks and all star cards you have.
I've got a big box stashed in the attic somewhere. Haven't looked through it in years.

They're all from the late 80's early 90's.
I have a card commemorating Nolan Ryan's 5000th strikeout. Cal Ripken Jr. MVP card from 1992 and an All-Star card for him too
A '91 Howard Johnson All-Star Card x 2 Fred McGriff all-star card Will Clark all-star Ozzie Smith all-star Jeff Bagwell Rookie of the Year
Found those just going through a plastic baggie full. There's another shoe box with a TON.

I hope so - that's why i asked her to bring them to me. I'm gonna sell off the valuable ones individually and the rest as a set.
man, what's funny is that when I collected these I didn't know anything about or give a shit about baseball. Now, 15 years later, I'm obsessed.

Mostly they're Topps but a few of them are Donruss and Fleer. As I'm looking through them I remember I really liked Topps and thought Fleer was ok but man I hated Donruss.

Definitely check out Beckett. They're online. Just give it a Google.
Your post earlier gave me some ideas, and I think I might do the same thing. I have a couple rare Keving Garnett rookie cards that are worth a little over $50 apiece. I think I might sell my shit and get a new pc.
