Redick is a marginal player... I can't really see him on a line up since all he can do is hit 3's and long shots.
But I agree, the Bulls are once again becoming strong. Good fan-oriented ownership, I guess. It seems most of the teams that are making it these days have already won a championship in recent years.
I'm also thinking that the Houston Rockets are due to make a come back. This season was shit with Yao's injured toe and T-Mac injured back, but when they're healthy Houston can pull in a 50+ win season

I'd definately like to see the Bulls on the top again but it'll take alot of work still.
I like Houston because I like Yao. Next to Shaq, he's one of the best centers in the league.

Hah.. I think the Chinese government grew him in a lab.
Also, ever see his MySpace profile? He lists Mao Tsu Tung, one of the brutal dictators of the 20th century, as one of his heroes

Still, you gotta admit, he plays ball well for an anorexic ogre. Most teams dont expect much offensively from their centers

he has a great shot for a big man, but hes still a pussy.. the rockets have absolutely no post play.. yao is a pretty good shot blocker but still cant handle majority of the centers in the league

Yao will get better. Look at his evolution from last year to this year. He was DOMINATING at times this year, in both rebounding AND post scoring. He's still adapting his game to the NBA game, which is 180 degrees different from what he was playing before.
I used to hate Yao too, think he was a stick figure, but he's on the up-and-up.

And the bulls picked a shitty year to have the #1 pick....
I hope they trade it and Ben Gordon to the wolves for KG. We need some SIZE.

I doubt that will happen. The Kid is getting a bit old these days and will be in his prime for only a few more years. I doubt he would leave Minnesota either. If he does, it will be for a title contender.

I think they need a big body down low. Someone athletic and who is able to take contact. I hope they either take that Aldredge from Texas or Thomas from LSU.
Either that or they could trade that pick for a couple lower first round picks.

we just need a big PF who can score.. then the bulls will be a contender
and i could see KG wanting out of minnesota.. theyve like dumped most of his good teamates.. he was like doing it all by himself this year.. and why wouldnt you see him goin to chicago? ..theyve got one of the best young lineups up and coming..
KG + hinrich/gordon + chandler/nocioni/deng = domination.... hed be dumb if he turned down that offer IMO if he wants to win a ring

He's getting older. Not that old though. I think he was drafted the same year as Rasheed Wallace, and KG was straight out of HS, while 'sheed played at NC.
KG will still be an elite player in the league for 3-5 more years, I think, if some team gives him a reason to play, which Minnesota wont do.
