seriously, this last guy came in, told us he is going to make PK-cakes
and then ask what exactly is a PK cake?...

You're leaving out the best part:

He wanted to make PK cakes/but what are the ingredients/how do you do it and as cherry on the cake he wanted to use a dishwashing machine to sterilize his cakes :rotfl:

Yup, we're getting new blood in the Garden, plans are being forged.

I'm all for a separate cannabis forum, but that would create another moderating issue. Still I think we should do it!

Rest assured I'd be keeping a close eye on any forum cannabis-related :stoned:
.. and pending Maggash's arrival he will of course be the perfect watch :spliff:

Definitely NOT doctorJ... that's the megalomaniacal misogynist who posts in the pub.

There's two of them. One is the guy in the pub and otd the other I haven't seen around lately. He use to go by " Dr J" I believe. Now as far as the pk cake stuff I'll keep on that crap now.

I say yes for more mods (congrats magash) and yet for a pot subforum. But I think a cacti id sticky would be sufficient.

We need more active moderating in the garden.
we got unbelievably dumb noobs asking what a PK-cake is
and also we need a subforum to house the unfashionable increase in cannabis discussion now that overgrow is down.

also wile your at it whip up a cacti identification subforum aswell,
those are getting annoying too...

but seriously, somebody needs to take a look at the situation, there is some room for improvement there...

I dont know what your deal is. Im tired of morning glory, hbwr, yopo, and khat threads getting in the way of the cacti id and weed threads.

Cacti and weed are far more popular than all that other garbage. The only people talking about that other crap is 15 year old kids wanting to get high on crap they can get on the internet.

I have a thread in the garden where im trying to get people to talk about why we need sub forums.

a new mod is a good idea too. Magash does a good job but he needs some help.

How about me?

I am well past 15, and I don't get high on any of the ethnobotanicals I grow.
Some people on here have a general interest in the botanical aspect of an ethnobotanical forum.

And as far as popularity goes. Are you refering to the US? Or the members we have here from around the world?

The notify moderator function does not work effectively when at least half of the moderators that are suspossed to be offering coverage for the forum haven't been on in 1-2 months.

If the notify moderator icon has been clicked, chances are it is in a situation that needs to be reviewed as soon as possible... which is exactly why a notify moderator form submission should be sent out to any online moderators/all moderators, or something.
