Their dead, all dead.

I dont quite know what went wrong. The first few days everything was cool and growing, and as soon as I changed the soil to shultz potting mix, they all began dying. I tried starting seeds in the same soil, and they showed the same ailment as others. The stems got super weak, and then just dried up. The reason why I put the seedlings in different soil is because I noticed the stems were very purple and thin, and in a previous thread someone told me I should have used potting mix instead of a soiless mixture. Doing so made me end up wasting 7 seeds. Can anyone help me make this trial and error process easier for me? People always told me weed was easier to grow than shrooms but boy was I wrong.

There are a lot of variables there. For all my plants, I use a mix 8, 2, 2, 2 soil, coir, verm, perlite.
Did you have a low fan on them? Did you over water?
Also, your subject is incorrect, it is "they're dead, all dead"

I'm guessing the Schultz had a premixed fert in it and they burned. Purple stems in some strains at the seedling stage is normal. they don't need any food for at least two weeks no matter what soil they are in. Would also have been easier to ad a little nutrient solution then wait till the right time to transplant.
Whoever said weed was easier to grow then shrooms was out of their fucking mind.

I like the paper towel germination method. It seems like everything that sprouts this way, grows no matter the medium.

This reason is why i stay away from miracle gro, schultz or any nutrient brand soil(im refering to chemical companys, obviously there are a few exceptions foxfarm, bcuzz, etc). use bx promix, or sunshine mixs they always work and you can admend them with any organic fert you choose.
