Found these while tripping. *Pics* Sporeprint

cap: about an inch stem: 2.5-3 inches. hollow. gills: dark brown/purple. patch: they were growing in shit, near horses, so im assuming horse shit. A tree was providing shade to the patch when i found these. i am assuming this shade lasts for about half of the sunlight day. scent: not strong? i don't know what strong is, but i'm assuming, not strong. sporeprint: havent done one yet -in the pictures, it looks like the stem is all purple, when i picked the mushroom, the stem was a dull yellow, if i can remember correctly, but now it is all purple. this shroom was found in western NY
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/7167/5231be.jpg http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/9629/52316ta.jpg
bruise: looks like it bruised a blue/purple color.

That habitat and the looks of it with those dark gills would suggest Panaeolus.

here are more pics of what eris and ihaveacow ID'ed as being pans: http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/7879/resize26sl.jpg http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8401/resize34my.jpg
Also, I found these different shrooms growing in the same patch. stem: 2-3 inches, white in color cap: .5 inch - 1 inch, gold in color gills: one cap had gills that were off-white/light,light brown. another cap had darker gills; sort of looked like the gills were burned. bruise: they did not bruise that much when i picked them. the bruise color was like an ash color; looked burned. -here are some pics:
http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/219/resize43xo.jpg http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/6026/resize51qv.jpg
can anyone ID these new shrooms I found or confirm the pan ID from my first post?

Those Pans have a veil and veil remnants... That would make them Panaeolus campanulatus. The concensus seems to be that they are not active.

the bottom 2 are not quite enough to be sure.....you need to spore print them as suggested and you didnt say what it was growing out of and also that shot close would of been a good shot but not lit enough.....probably Stropharia if not an Agrocybe but would need more info to be more sure if either....both genera have poisonous species......if that is out of dung any mushroom of that type you want to clearly bruise blue to bluish green before considering it if IDd as Psilocybe..
the 2 pics above that of Panaeolus with those interesting designs on the caps and appendiculate remnants on the cap margin are 'classic' ....Panaeolus retirugis.......latently 'active' from psilocybin.....some are weakly active.....some are NOT.....varies from cow pat to pat....these will not bruise blue if 'active'.....be positive ALL your mushrooms are Panaeolus in that group....a spore print will decide this.....ALL need to be BLACK BLACK spores

The second group of shrooms( white stem and gold cap) were growing out of the same patch (horse shit). I am going to the patch tomorrow to water it because the shrooms were drying up really bad. I am currently doing a spore print of the gold cappers. i'll give an update tomorrow morning. thanks for all of the help. someone mentioned that the pans i have are active while someone else stated they are not active... hmmm
those pans i have... are there poisnous or deadly look alikes? or just lookalikes that are not active. same questions with the white stem and gold cap shrooms (i dont know what they are called)

They would probably go blue if they are active. Has anyone found pans in the wild that dont go blue?
One home grow of pans showed no blueing whatso ever - but that seems an unusual case.
Anyways if they dont go blue they are very likely not active, and since you dont have a 100% ID, throw them violently at the wall in a ritualistic act of depravity.
You'll find them - it makes it even better when you finally do, it really is like finding hidden treasure - as someone described.

SUBBs......probably the most wide spread occuring on every continent.....yes even the south pole.....and possibly abused 'active' shroom the world over does NOT commonly blue all that much......
do your SUBBs always blue ???......probably not

The subs(subauringrnosa sp?) I find are always heavily blueing. Never found a subb in my life - and I dont expect to find them here unfortunately . I imagine they are pretty hard to identify, it seems people have lots of problems.

all of the darker mushrooms i have all had black sporeprints. so are they active? 0% poisonous? The shrooms with the white stems and gold caps wouldn't give me a spore print... i think they were too dry. anyway, it is supposed to rain for a couple of hours today. how many days should i wait untill after it rains to go back to the patch and check for more?
