Oops Preparatioin question

Alright I was mixing up a bowl of brf and vermiculite, but instead of having them in seperate bowls, wetting the verm first then adding the brf i had everything together then added water. Will this mess everyting up and how can i fix it? Thanks

Thank you, I figured it couldn't do too much harm. One more question. I don't think i'm going to beable to boil my jars for a day or so, will this pose a problem? Maybe water evap or something?

Why not mix everything in a couple days then? But to answer your question. It shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just make sure the water content of the BRF/vermiculite mix is right before you begin to boil them. You want a little bit of water to come out when you squeeze the mixture, but you don't want any standing water.

Well to answer you question, I'm real short on time all the time, so i will probably have to find a time that i have exactly an hour and a half to boil them, then turn off the stove and let them cool. I will probably have to run out the door as soon as i turn the stove off. lol. But thanks for helping
