Ok, so now my friend ate the pink elephant's mushrooms (4 dry grams, about 3 hours ago) and he's trippin hard, he said. Crapola! I ate 7-8 dried grams of the same fucking mushrooms, and I didn't feel anything!!!
FUCK!!!!!
Oh well, I guess that means the pink elephant will just have to grow more mushies, and I'll eat an ounce dry next time. . .hopefully that will work.

Why would someone trip and another person wouldnt?
Also I hope you wouldnt eat a whole ounce at once, cause if you did trip...Youd be tripping um well , you wouldnt be even tripping anymore you'd be going way past that... ahah

do you take and anti depressents or any other medications? sometimes if the dose is high enough you wont trip or it will take alot to get off, zolfot, wellbutrin and prozac are good examples.,, generally if you take no more than 50mg of zoloft daily, you can trip , let me know i will help you with info

i use to hate trippin with my ex. we would all be flying our asses off and he would be the only one saying "i don't feel anything" we finally got to where we quit wasting our fucking drugs on him. you give him mushies or acid and he feels nothing, give hime lortabs or hydrocodone and he falls asleep, waste of good drugs. i always just thought he was a fucking idiot. someimes we would be trippin so hard ther would be NO FUCKING WAY he couldn't feel anything but i guess some peoples bodies are different in how they feel the drugs. imagine live without psychedelics...ohhh, makes me shudder!!!

Just adding some info to your post concerning the effects of MAOI's on various psychedelics..
SEROTONIN-SELECTIVE ANTIDEPRESSANTS:
*Fluoxetine* (Prozac) -- even at doses of this antidepressant ranging from 2mg/day to 40 mg/day, there was an overall decrease in most effects from LSD (no matter how much acid people took), as well as a decrease in response to ketamine. There was no change in response to psilocybin. There does seem to be a decrease in the response to MDMA.
*Sertraline* (Zoloft) -- the effect with this antidepressant seems to be dose-dependent. At 50 mg/day, there was no effect on the response to LSD nor to psilocybin. However, at 100 mg/day, there was a decrease in response to both LSD and MDMA.
*Paroxetine* (Paxil) -- decrease in response to LSD.
*Trazodone* (Desyrel) -- decrease in response to LSD.
TRICYCLIC ANTIDEPRESSANTS:
*Imipramine* (Tofranil) -- increase in response to LSD.
*Desipramine* (Norpramine) -- increase in response to LSD.
*Clomipramine* (Anafranil) -- increase in response to LSD.
LITHIUM:
(*alone* or *in combination with a tricyclic antidepressant*) -- increase in response to LSD or psilocybin.
MONOAMINE OXIDASE INHIBITOR:
*Phenelzine* (Nardil) -- decrease in response to LSD
**TAKE NOTE OF THE RESPONSE TO MDMA: combining an MAO inhibitor plus MDMA has led to a hypertensive crisis and a near-fatal response in many people!!! This could be anticipated because MDMA is a substituted amphetamine, and stimulants should not be combined with an MAO inhibitor!!! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!

I don't take any meds.
I don't understand this at all. I've tripped on acid before, and weed works. But, it looks like shrooms don't.
I guess this means the crop is going to get sold.

Some people have different reactions to certain drugs.
Some people just can't get wasted off certain chemicals or drugs.
Other people have reverse effects to drugs.
I have a friend that has a reverse effect to speed.....instead of flying like a mad man.....it brings him down....like a downer.
Then when he takes Qualudes.....he flys like a mother fucker instead of being mellow.
I just wonder if this is what Canisdormit problem is.
Very likely he is one of the few that can't trip on shrooms.
Which is very unfortunate.....considering his hobby.

Well, Just try doubling the does. I usually take a quarter anyways. Not to say that I dont feal an 1/8th. It's just that every time I take an 1/8th I wish I had taken a 1/4.

I take zoloft and trip just as well as I did before I started taking it. But then I can't tell that the zoloft is affecting me at all.
Hey Roadkill, do qualudes still exist? I thought they stopped making them in the eighties. I saw them listed on a drug test thread the other day. I used to love to go to 714 land. What a party. Well, what I can remember of it!LOL
