Anything take a month to colonize?

So I have a bit of a problem. I'll be in Nepal for around a month and have just gotten started up again with my cultivation activities and don't want to completely shut down after all this hard work. I wanted to do something bulk anyways but everything I can think of/have tried is done colonizing in like 10 days. Does anyone have any good self-sufficient bulk teks that, barring contams and other possible problems, will give me a huge mass of mycelium to enjoy when I get home. For instance, how long would one of those huge 30"X 30" plastic trays of hpoo take to colonize under it's own heat? I don't know if anything will work but I thought I'd give it a shot.

It doesn't matter how big the tray is, the more poo you use the more spawn you'll need. If the poo isn't colonized within usually 14-16 days, then contamination will begin to set in.
Personally, I would inoc some pf jars or grain jars (whichever you're doing) and stick them in the fridge after they colonize. Then spawn them when you get back. That is........if you have time to before you leave.
Have fun in Nepal, its an amazing place.

just incubate them in a cooler environment. that'll make them go slower. I'm not sure on an exact temp, but i'd say maybe low 60s. I think i've read somewhere that if you incubate and fruit in cooler temps it takes longer but they're more potent?

You could try growing wood-lovers. I believe that they take a long time to colonise and although it would probably be quite difficult to get the spores I'm sure that they would be interesting to work with. http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/23955

Just innoc your jars and place them in a dark place at room tempature, they should just be finishing up colonization after a month, I know this from experience. Pfcake's un-incubated 500ml take about a month and a few days, 250 should be completed by then. a 200ml pfcake has the lifespan of 60 days upon completion if left active.
Simple solution, dont incubate

Haha I have like half a day after a Spanish final tomorrow to get anything setup, which means I probably should go shopping tonight. I don't like going back to the pf tek, so I'll probably just stay with grain jars. Does WBS or Rye make more sense in this situation? My rye jars sometimes dry out on me after a while but that's usually my fault. Will wbs be better for the longer run?
I probably will have to due g2g transfers from some other jars I decided not to spawn, but I'm using this puerto rican strain and the flushes I've been getting make me want to cry. Does anyone think I could get a small batch of LC done in 7 or 8 days? PRs had a Good pinset, way too rhizomorhpic myc that overcolonizes everything, and the tinniest fucking fruits I've ever had. My lighting may have been a little too low, but everything else was neear perfect. I see overlay o the side of one casing too, yes real overlay. Really want to say goodbye to this strain.
Maddhatter, have you been to Nepal before?
I'll throw a few pics up in a moment
