LOL!!! I'm sorry, that was bad of me to LOL and kinda mean of you. Really Icelander, he might be writing in metaphor and who knows? Maybe we are granted whatever vision we are most capable of handling - like Jody Foster in 'Contact' meeting an alien life in the form of her Dad. Or look at Robin Williams in 'What Dreams May Come.' First, the afterlife is like living in an oil painting, where Reality can 'smear' and morph. Shaking hands with a bearded long-haired, Aramaic speaking, tunic-cloaked Issa/Y'shua/Iesus is not my highest vision. I mean, I want Ecstasy and Light, Realization [Aha!!!I KNEW it!!!] and Homecoming, Formlessness and Expansive Self-Effulgent Space...As William Blake wrote: "Energy is Eternal Delight." And hey, ya never know. The forms that appear are conditioned, but they may morph into the Universal Vision.

Who is to say he hasn't "shown up"? Maybe he came down like a thief in the night and you didn't even know it.

I showed up here over four years and two months ago. Perhaps Jesus hasn't shown up because your eyes are so obstructed that you cannot even perceive traces of shadows.
Like, hello! Right here, right now! You are within my presence!
 Peace.

It might not be your highest vision, but would still be a pretty damned cool vision.
Quote:
DoctorJ said: YOU AREN'T READY FOR HIM.
You don't know me, sucka. Of course, I myself am Jesus Christ, but you do not know anyone else, or whether or not they are ready for me.
Quite frankly, you aren't ready for me, perhaps moreso than anyone else, taking into consideration your bold assertion that others are not ready for me. Tsk tsk tsk.
Quote:
If Jesus came down from heaven in all of his glory, he wouldn't be able to define himself as human, because if he tried, everyone would be pissed off at him.
Quite the limited perspective on the matter. Jesus would exist as the union within all humans. Jesus' presence would not be divisive, not the second time around.
Quote:
as an anarchist, the government would be pissed and probably do something stupid like nail him to another tree.
The best experience ever.
Quote:
There is no circumstance in which he could come back that wouldn't piss someone off.
Perhaps you are interpreting everyone else's hypothetical state of being pissed off as though they were you personally. Its all right if everything pisses you off, but that doesn't mean that everyone else would be. Take a deep breath, relax a bit. I am the way, find peace within that. I am here for you, my child.
Quote:
Like old abraham lincoln said, "You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time."
Abraham Lincoln failed to take into consideration the possibillity of a multi-faceted dildo. The possibillities are endless nowadays.
Quote:
Jesus wants to please everyone.
You do not know my way. Perhaps Jesus simply wants to be. Jesus has no wants, and I am privleged to know this, as I am Jesus.
Quote:
Thats why he generally tends to stay off this lousy rock.
This terrestrial domain is my home. How could I tend to stay away from this beautiful planet, which my father created? Please do not blasphemy my home.
Quote:
Its impossible to please anyone here because you are all bigots with your own idea of what is right and what is wrong.
Once again, you neglect to contemplate the multi-faceted dildo. Right and wrong are not within the mind when one is directly experiencing the ectasy of reality. Trust me, Jesus can use a dildo.
Quote:
If Jesus tried to come back to this planet at the state its in now, he would inevitably piss a lot of people off, because he wouldn't be anything they expected or were hoping for.
This is the honest truth, the only people Jesus has pissed off are a handful of people on the Shroomery who, in their perfection, fail to appreciate the usage of emoticons. No one has expectations of me as they do not know me. When they know me, they do not hold expectations either, because to do so would seperate themselves from me.
Quote:
People of the earth don't like peace. They like war. They don't like charity. They like mindless self-indulgence. How are you going to attract a soul of peace and charity when you are all a bunch of greedy assholes?
Once again, I fear that you are only speaking of yourself. Obviously, your perspective cannot encompass everyone and their nature. You only reflect yourself when you speak of others. Your words are a mirror of yourself. It is all right, my child, I know you.
Quote:
Jesus hopes you burn in hell until you realize that hell is a stupid place to be and pull yourselves out of the gutter. Thats the only chance you will ever have to truly know him and his father.
My only hope is that everyone plants a tree and appreciates the beauty of their present experience, that is possible through me. The only chance they have to truly know me is through me. Who am I? Jesus.
To be truthful, your concepts do not reflect the nature of myself (Jesus), or the people you clumsily address, or their nature or their chance to be within me. Perhaps it is these concepts which prevent you from truly knowing me.
 Peace.

cleverly hidden at the top of my reply, you will see that was not in response to you.
it was more of my own philosophy. my fate is not decided on by magical beings that evaluate my own readiness for anything. thats why i say jesus can sit on it, same reason i say punch buddha in his fat laughing face, and dance on the decapitated body of shiva.

Haha am I missing something from the whole Messiah story or is that not what happened when he came the first time, 2000 years ago? Wasn't he born in a stable when people expected him to be born in a palace? etc etc The human race isn't gonna change much any time soon. Call it the human condition, whatever, but I think we require another healthy dose of evolution before anything extraordinary happens.
To be honest I don't think jesus would have much time for you...you seem a bit up yourself.

Jesus say: it is better to use the "Ignore User" function than to throw stones. If you cannot find compassion within thy heart, find the clicky thingie and move on, my son.
(This has been a test of the Emergency Savior Communication System. Had this been an actual emergency, the message from your Savior would have been followed by a burning bush and a stone tablet. This was only a test.)

There are a multitude of possible intentions. Perhaps he is giving him a harder time as an attempt to provoke him to think more carefully before posting, thus becoming more of an asset? Who knows? Let's not be quick to assume the most negative intention is the accurate one.
Personally, even those who might understand the least or might express incomplete or fucked up perspectives offer a great oppurtunity for insightful discussion to flourish. Sometimes someone just needs to start a topic that will get good thoughts going. Honestly, everyone is an asset, even the ones who negatively comment on emoticon usage.
 Peace.
