Why Jesus hasn't shown up yet:

YOU AREN'T READY FOR HIM.
If Jesus came down from heaven in all of his glory, he wouldn't be able to define himself as human, because if he tried, everyone would be pissed off at him.
If he came back as a man, the women would be pissed.
If he came back as a white man, the blacks would be pissed.
If he came back beautiful, the ugly people would be pissed.
If he came back heterosexual, the gays would be pissed.
If he came back as an anarchist, the government would be pissed and probably do something stupid like nail him to another tree.
If he came back as a fascist, everyone would be pissed.
If he came back as a taoist, the church would be pissed.
If he came back as a Democrat, the Republicans would be pissed.
There is no circumstance in which he could come back that wouldn't piss someone off.
Like old abraham lincoln said, "You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time."
Jesus wants to please everyone. Thats why he generally tends to stay off this lousy rock. Its impossible to please anyone here because you are all bigots with your own idea of what is right and what is wrong. If Jesus tried to come back to this planet at the state its in now, he would inevitably piss a lot of people off, because he wouldn't be anything they expected or were hoping for.
People of the earth don't like peace. They like war. They don't like charity. They like mindless self-indulgence. How are you going to attract a soul of peace and charity when you are all a bunch of greedy assholes?
Jesus hopes you burn in hell until you realize that hell is a stupid place to be and pull yourselves out of the gutter. Thats the only chance you will ever have to truly know him and his father.

that's why he sent me, his little brother Justice.
I'm here to teach you all a lesson you will never forget.
Of course, I am here to learn as well.
I am here to learn compassion. Jesus and his Way give me strength in this persuit.
I can't wait to see my big brother. I can't wait to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the ocean is as blue as it is in my dreams. I hope.

We all are. Brother, if you truly seek to embody compassion, then why do you make posts saying things like "Jesus hopes you burn in hell", and calling gays the result of poor genetics? That's not compassion, and though I certainly can't claim to know Jesus, I can't imagine that he would hope anyone burns in hell.

Its real easy to take statements out of context.
the truth hurts. how many times and in how many different ways do I have to say this?
Who do you think Jesus is supposed to be anyway? What do YOU think he would be like if he came back? Because I'm sayin right now, if he came back, at least a few people wouldn't like him, wouldn't want him around to question their ways and reveal their scams.
Look, you can be real and have principles and stick up for them, or you can be fake and try to please everyone.
personally, I think Jesus was real. He wasn't the fake little magical happy man that everyone wants him to be. How could Jesus be everything people want him to be when NO ONE can even agree what he said, or even what he looked like?
Serving the desires of this planet is a tall order, and I think Jesus has served enough tall orders. Thats why he's not here. He's taking a well-deserved vacation from the petty demands of humanity.

I found him within a long time ago. I'm saved, man. Its everyone else I'm worried about. Cuz I don't see Jesus anywhere around here. All I see are greedy assholes who don't know the first fucking thing about Christ.

Okay, explain how I took the gayness being the result of poor genetics out of context. And explain to me how I took this out of context:
Quote:
Jesus hopes you burn in hell until you realize that hell is a stupid place to be and pull yourselves out of the gutter.
You're very clearly stating that Jesus wanted people to suffer. This, however, doesn't make sense. If he wanted people to suffer, why would he have done ANYTHING AT ALL? He showed people the way OUT of suffering. Why would he have done something like that if he wanted people to suffer?

Jesus doesn't want people to suffer. People want to suffer. He allows this because he allows everything from A to Z. He would like it if people didn't suffer, but if they want to put themselves through suffering via their own poor decisions, he will allow it. Like I said in another thread, if you are free, you are free to fail.
And by the way, the way OUT of suffering is THROUGH suffering. You cannot enter the gates of Heaven until you step through the gates of Hell without fear in your heart. The way out is through. Leary said that. Jesus provided the ultimate example of it.
You are in hell when you put yourself in hell. You get yourself out of hell by quitting the bitching and getting your shit together. It really is that simple.

Are you saying that Jesus will come back as a human being? Because what you are advocating is that we all find Jesus.... because how else will we stop being so labeling and bigoted so as to reject him if he is white, brown, or any certain way?
If so, he doesn't need to come back at all, because he's already here in everyone.
What's to say that his second coming is not a person coming to each individual, initiating a transformation, and upon that transformation..... that is the reign of Christ... not an actual Christ sitting around reigning, but, rather, a restored peace on Earth when a critical mass of enlightenment is reached?
-------------------- I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo! ....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...... Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

Jesus will come back in spirit, in the hearts of mankind. He has already been here in the flesh and was murdered for it.
You seem to be a bit confused on what you think Jesus wants.
First you say.....
Quote:
Jesus wants to please everyone.....
then you say....
Quote:
Jesus hopes you burn in hell......
Jesus doesn't want to please anyone.......he wants everyone to be pleased. It isn't his job to please you.....it is up to you to be happy with your life.
Jesus doesn't want anyone to burn in hell. It is upsetting to see people suffer.......especially for Jesus. He knows that "You have to go thru hell before you get to heaven" but he doesn't want you there.....he wants you with him.
He wants you to learn how to be happy with your life. If you're happy.....you're not in hell.
Quote:
People of the earth don't like peace. They like war. They don't like charity. They like mindless self-indulgence.
Change people, in that sentence with government, and you have it right.
Government and the church were the things Jesus rebelled against. These are two entities that care nothing about the people. They were responsible for Jesus dying the first time..........and are still working to keep people away from him today.
Jesus only cares about the individual person.......not the government that person happens to live under.

You know why Jesus hasnt shown his face yet? Because he was nailed to a cross.
