ok first jar of birdseed that in full coln. with no mold or anything but there are lil worm like things crawling around on the side of the glass what the hell are they and where id they come form ????? could they be the larva of fungs gnats

disgusting. Could be maggots, someone had those in their jar not too long ago. next time up your PC time.

They are indeed the larvae of fungus gnats attracted to the smell of the colonizing mycelium. A female must have laid eggs in or near an opening to your jars. What kind of a seal were you using? Increasing PC time will have no effect on your problem since the larvae invaded your jar after colonization was well underway.

Yup, sounds like a fruitfly or mushroom gnat made it into your jars. Next time use some kind of filter (tyvek, filter disk or polyfill) to keep them out.

Hey maybe thats the next BIG THING in mushrooms! That is, farming insect larve on P. cubensis mycelium. Ya maybe some meal worms or some big fat grub worms. I wonder how long larve could live under those conditions? Do you guys think that there bodies would retain any psilocybin or would they just piss it all out? MMMMMM Trippy Grubs. I would also like to point out the similarities betwen the words "drugs" and "grubs". I would say they are practicaly the same word and Possibly in the same "word family". Just something to think about...
