Self-healing plastic substrate jars

I was rummaging through storage and found a set of 15 plastic 1 quart jars with self-healing injector site lids. I won these in a contest from either Mycofactory or Mycosupply. I honestly forget. I've searched both of their websites and even for the contest (a couple years ago) in the marketplace with no luck in finding directions on how to use these.
I imagine I just treat them like regular jars and inject spore solution through the cross-section of the zipper-like lattice structure on the lids. I need a little bit of clarification from somebody who is familiar with this product, or of course, a link to the product (if you can figure out what the hell i'm talking about ).
Thanks.

Are you sure that there are injection ports on those lids? "Zipper-like lattice" sounds more like a type of filter and not an injection site. Injection ports are foam or rubber plugs.

Well, Workman, I'm pretty sure they must be. I don't think the jars were designed solely for g2g transfers.
There is a layer of plastic over the lattice network of zipper like filter looking material...so I'm really not sure if they are self-healing or simply filter paper.

It still sounds like just a type of filter patch (a picture would help). You can still open the lid to toss in agar wedges or inject spores and liquid cultures. No injection site doesn't limit you to grain to grain.

I just poked one of the lids to see what would happen and yes Workman, it is a filter patch, not a self-healing patch.
I'm going to try either patching the injector hole after inoculation or just squirting spore solution into a crack in the lid then closing it back up. Thanks for the help
